Crossroads Chrysler Jeep Dodge Reviews (22)

Review: We purchased a [redacted] in April, 2013 from Crossroads Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Prince George, VA. The Jeep has had 5 recalls on it in less than 2 years. The first three recalls were finally repaired after having to wait sometime for the parts to become available. The last two recalls that we received paperwork for around December, 2014 have not been repaired, because the parts are not available. We were told that Chrysler's Engineers have not been able to come up with the parts to resolve the issue. One issue is replacing the alternator and the other is replacing an airbag part. They have no ideal when parts will be available. We have since February 18, 2015 sold the Jeep back to Crossroads. We wrote them a check for $1271.00 to go towards the payoff. They cashed our check the next day February 19, 2015. They have not paid off the vehicle to the finance company. They said that a check was written from North Carolina and then sent to California on February 28, 2015. We don't understand why it had taken so long for this dealer to write a check and pay off the loan, since they cashed our check the next day. We have been in contact with the finance company and telling them what we have been told. Crossroads Finance Manager told us when we sold the Jeep back to them that the payoff information could sit on a desk for 10 days. Then he said this again and the finance company did not agree with this statement. We feel that we have been given the run-around with this dealership. The Finance Manager also said that he was waiting for the title so he could sell the Jeep. We told him that he said the recalls had to be fixed before the Jeep was sold. We also took the Jeep in on 217/2015 for repairs that they did not find anything wrong. The running lights kept going off and on. The blue tooth did not always pick up the cell phone and we had to push the start button 2 times to start the vehicle. They claimed that they could not find anything wrong.Desired Settlement: For the public to know that Crossroads is a dealership that is very questionable. We would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Response:

CrossRoads Chrysler Jeep Dodge completed a recall involving reprogramming the instrument cluster on Mr. [redacted]. Two additional recalls on the vehicle did not have any parts available from Chrysler at the time. We regret that fact that Chrysler was not able to supply the parts but it was beyond the control of CrossRoads. As soon as the corporate office received the paperwork from CrossRoads Chrysler Jeep Dodge for the buyback they began processing to pay off the loan. The loan has been paid off to [redacted] as of March 6, 2015. CrossRoads also reached out to [redacted] to ensure there was not any remaining balance due. CrossRoads was well within the allotted timeframe of 30 days from February 18, 2015, when the buyback occurred, to pay off the loan. If there is anything else CrossRoads can do to assist Mr. [redacted] please let us know.

Review: My speakers have been replaced by this dealership... However, the speakers only lasted 1 year before they sounded like crap again. Dealership claims the warranty is only 1 year, however Chrysler states the warranty is 2 years.Desired Settlement: I just want my speakers fixed

Response:

Mr. [redacted] vehicle was originally repaired by us on 10/13/2014. The speakers were replaced and were covered by his extended warranty plan through [redacted]. At that time Chrysler's parts warranty was 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Mr. [redacted] vehicle was past the warranty period when he brought his vehicle back. The parts warranty is for the original purchaser, which in this case was [redacted] Extended Warranty. However, Mr. [redacted] extended warranty plan is still in affect. Paul Y[redacted] service manager, called [redacted] Extended Warranty Company and they have agreed to cover the repair of the speakers under their warranty , since it was out of the factory parts warranty. There is a $100.00 dollar deductible which Crossroads is going to waive as a goodwill gesture. The parts are on order and Mr. [redacted] will be notified when they arrive. There will be no charge to the customer. We have apologized to Mr. [redacted] for what he experienced and he is pleased with the outcome.Thank You
