Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/04/20) */ We regret that we've had so much trouble with Ms [redacted] ' drivewayWe originally gave Ms [redacted] an estimate to remove her existing driveway and front sidewalk and replace with new concrete on August 15, She accepted the estimate and was put on our job listAt that time we had a long list of customers ahead of her on the job listWe contacted her in the beginning of October and asked if she would mind if we waited to pour the concrete until spring and put her on the spring job listWe stated that our concrete supplier does not recommend pouring concrete after October 1st each year due to harsh weatherMs [redacted] stated that she did not want to wait until the spring because she wanted a new driveway before winterWe poured her driveway and front sidewalk October 23, Yes, a section of the original driveway poured October 23, did start to crumbleThis does occasionally happen due to harsh weather, salt damage, and unknown causesWe have a great working relationship with our concrete supplier and we had a representative come out and look at Ms [redacted] ' drivewayBoth the supplier and I have seen this damage at times for unknown exact causesIt was undetermined what had caused the damage so we decided we could all help chip in for the repairWe asked the concrete supplier to give us a discount on the concrete, Ms [redacted] to help with concrete costs with $1000.00, and we supplied free labor for the replacementShe did agree to this decision without coercion We did look back at our records regarding the repour of this driveway sectionYes, it did start to rain and we immediately stopped the pour and finished the remaining job the next dayI do not recall ever damaging the siding on the garage nor tearing up the yard excessivelyNeither of these complaints were ever brought to my attention at any pointOnce again we regret the situation at handIt is not our policy to refund money, however we would replace the concrete section that was poured in the rain free of chargeWe don't want to leave Ms [redacted] with a bad experience and would like to leave her with a quality product Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 8, 2015/04/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I appreciate your willingness to make this rightYou are correct that I requested in AUGUST (2013) that the drive be poured before winterThis was agreed upon when I accepted your estimateAt no time did you suggest we wait until Spring to pour the initial drivewayIn fact, I questioned several times how late the initial drive was being poured and was assured by you and your crew that it would be fineIf you don't pour driveways after October 1st, why did it take until October 23rd to get to mine? I have the invoice and statement from the professional who had to repair my landscape after the second pourWhen your crew came to get the forms from my drive I did communicate my concerns about the damage to my garage and landscapeThey told me they would discuss it with youI didn't hear anything regarding eitherYou have mentioned that you wished I would have contacted you prior to reporting this to the Revdex.comI have made several attemptsIt took many attempts to get a response the first time this happenedI would like to be assured that the replacement of the damaged section will be completed in a timely mannerI accept your offer to replace the damaged portion of the driveway, at no charge, provided my yard and landscaping has no further damage and if an acceptable time frame for completion is given Final Consumer Response / [redacted] (3000, 15, 2015/10/06) */ Crossroad concrete has not shown up to fix my drivewayI have tried to call, left a message but still haven't heard from themCan I reopen my case Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 17, 2015/10/14) */ We have not received any phone messages from Ms [redacted] We do apologize for the miscommunicationWe thought we get a final word back regarding if Ms [redacted] had accepted our offer for replacement at no costWe do reget to say that due to cold weather conditions we recommend waiting until Spring to do the work

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2015/05/05) */ We originally poured a driveway for Ms [redacted] in October There is a risk of cracking in concreteWe did have contact with Ms [redacted] and even tried to prevent further crackingWe did agree to replace the defective concreteWe did not coerce Ms [redacted] into signing/accepting an estimate for having the side porch steps redoneMs [redacted] is currently on our job listWe agree to replace the defective section of driveway even if she does not wish to have the side porch steps done.:: Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 9, 2015/05/14) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
