I call the office (now located on Nasa Rd) to be given a next day appointment, that's great to me especially when having an iud removed and with the timing of your cycle makes it easier on the patientI scheduled my appointment for 12:I received numerous emails to sign up on the patient portal and am told you must pay in addition to your co-pay $as a new patient to the clinic for miscellaneous fee's that may be encounteredOkay, I think this is fishy but for a next day appointment I say okay it's worth it to get inI sign up online fill out the online medical history however, my phone does not allow adobe flash player and I do not have Internet access from a desktop to e-sign documentsSo I call the "hotline" they have set up (its an answering service no one that actually works there)The lady tells me just to be there a little bit early and so I think as with any doctors appointment minutes should be enoughI also live an hour away I tell the lady on the phone and still that was fine just a little early was fineI'm literally on the road already driving to this appointment after I've cleared my schedule, and receive an EMAIL NOT A PHONE CALL at 11:stating I need to be there by 11:or they will simply hand me a paper packet and rescheduled my appointment! So I call the "hotline" and tell they guy my situation that I would be there minutes early but I don't want to continue driving the entire trip to simply be turned away considering how little time I was notified of this "policy"He says he can send a message to customer care, who then can send a message to the nurse who then can notify the medical staff of my urgent request who will thenget thisEMAIL ME A RESPONSE! I tell him this is absolutely ridiculous and ask when the next appointment would be to reschedule since I'm coming from across townHe says it's at least a week outConsidering it was their lack of time and communication one would think you could see me sooner but noThere are plenty of Doctors in and around Clear Lake and Houston who will do direct phone calls to the office without needing to email and go through different phone prompts and phone operators to make their clients feel importantI am now sent an email saying a cancellation fee will be sent to me because I couldn't make the 11:time frame!!! They made it impossible for me to get thereWhat bull!! This place is clearly about money!! Beware, beware, beware!!! And that email for a cancellation fee did come with a quickness by the way!! I've also signed absolutely nothing with their office just fyi!!!
