My wife purchased a 2024 Kia Seltos from Crossroads Ford, Prince George Viginia. The vehicle was shipped from another location with only one key. When we inquired about the other key, we were advised it somehow still at the other dealership. We have since been told the key arrived at Crossroads Ford, Prince George, Virginia but no one knows what happened to the key. It had been 3 months, and we are still without a key. We have been lied to and delayed by the dealership in our effort to obtain a key. The general manager, Will Nichols his associates Stephen Diaz and Kenny Wingfield have advised they are working on the issue. We have spoken with each of these individuals, and nothing has been done. The key person or company they use supposedly was given the wrong information related to the vehicle and could not make the key. Also, the key person or company they use do no return calls or keep appointments. This entire situation has been stressful based on the fact a Kia Dealership is probably less than 7 miles away from Crossroads Ford. It is not our fault the key got lost or misplaced nor should we have to wait for Crossroads Ford to find a less expensive alternative to have a key made. The level of poor communication and incompetence has made this buying experience less than satisfying. If asked, would we buy another vehicle from Crossroads Ford based on our present situation the answer would be NO. Car keys are expensive to replace no customer should have to wait months for what they have paid for already.
