Review: Sent in a watch for service with the requisite payment of $19.95 and have not yet received the watch back, nor return of money for failure to provide the service. So I am out the $19.95 and Croton Watch Company still has the watch as well.Desired Settlement: Return the watch serviced as requested or return the watch and my $19.95 for non service.

Review: I will try to briefly describe my problem with this return service center Address:

almost two months ago I called customer service and asked if they could replace my watch strap, white, lady on the other side told me that there is no problem but I have to send to repair dept. the enclosed money order for the amount of $ 19.99 for shipping the watch back to me, which I agreed and so I did.

I waited almost a month, after a month I called for the same service asking if my watch is ready, on the other side I heard from this lady is not yet ready.

After next week, I called again and the lady on the other side told me that the watch is ready, but I'm gonna have to send an additional $ 20 for a strap which of course I did.

In both cases, I sent by [redacted] - two money orders for a total amount of $ 40.

The next week I got a call from the repair dept. Again, the same lady tells me that they have no strap in white and therefore can not live up to the agreement, offering me in exchange for the white strap black strap, I do not know why I was not told, from begining.for which, of course, I disagreed.

After two months sent me a watch which of course is not repaired and of course at my expense, $ 19.99.

They sent me a second money order of $ 20 which was written on Croton Repair Dept. together with the watch.

What conclusion from this .......

I paid for something I do not have, whether I like it or not pay $ 19.99 for shipping.

And of course the second money order that I received in the amount of $ 20 for a strap which I do not have,

and to all this that I would lose on the exchange of the check for $ 15 dollars to [redacted] handling fees.

Therefore, I demand the return of all the money $ 40 dollars to me immediately. with apologiesDesired Settlement: resolve the problem in my favor

Review: I purchased a mechanical Tourbillon watch from a business partner of Crotan Watches that distributes and sells Crotan Watch products. Crotan Watch provided a 5 year warranty with the purchase of this watch. The watch does not run without randomly stopping and starting. I have sent the watch to Crotan for repair several times and they send it back saying they wound the watch and set it down and it runs perfectly yet the first time I sent it in, their technician indicated that the watch needed a new movement which was not provided. They said they cleaned the watch and it was fine. The watch was sent back to me and immediately began to randomly stop and start whenever I wore the watch. I sent it back and they said they adjusted it (but could find nothing wrong). They said they wound it every day and over a period of a few days it ran perfectly. The watch might run a few days and may even run a day or two while worn but within week it will begin stopping and staring randomly. After sending the watch back in again and getting it back from Crotan saying nothing was wrong with it I am more resolved than ever to get this issue settled.Desired Settlement: I have given Crotan the opportunity to repair or replace the watch but they have failed to remedy the problem. I paid $800 for the watch. I want to return the defective watch to Crotan Watch and be reimbursed for the purchase.

Review: I bought a water resistant or proof watch and took a shower in it and the face has moisture under the crystal so it is hard to read the watch and they said it to send $19.95 and they will see how it will cost to fix it and it should be covered by their warranty and it doesn't cost $19.95 to shop a watch.Desired Settlement: Fix my watch so I can see what time it is.

Review: I sent my watch in for repair around March of 2013. The website advised of a delay in repair time due to a lack of available watchmakers. Fine with me, as long as the repair was exceptional. The expected time frame was to be 12 weeks from the date the watch was received. Their online repair portal shows that the watch was received on 4/*/2013. Due to the amount of time it has taken I have attempted to contact customer service or the repair department on two (2) occasions without a single response from them on the status of my watch repair. Even after I requested my watch be returned because a local watchmaker could've fixed it by now they refuse to respond. Their online repair portal continues to accept repair requests without any issue, except that your watch is essentially stolen once you put it in the mail. Even for an item under a lifetime warranty they make you pay a $20.00 shipping and insurance fee which only covers the return shipping, not the shipping to them. I can't even make a claim for the additional insurance I purchased for the package because it shows as having been received with someone signing for it.Desired Settlement: I would like for my item to be repaired as I expected it to be. If it cannot be, I would like my watch returned to me in the same condition it was sent in. Because of the length of time as well I would like the $20.00 shipping and insurance charge that I paid to be refunded. The reason being that the business was given ample time to perform the repair (it being 10/*/2013 as I'm writing this, a whole 6 months from when they received the watch) which is still uncompleted. The item was a gift from my grandfather as well who is no longer with me which is why I could care less if it's repaired, as long as I have my sentiments from the watch itself I could care less about any monetary compensation. It's saddening that in order for me to get my watch back I have to go to this length to due so, but whatever is necessary. I would like to see this companies online repair portal suspended if they are backed up or not even performing repairs. This is an easy way for them to still be making money without providing service. Thank you.

I received my watch yesterday after 6 months. However, I was never contacted by the business and my repair status on their website still shows as only being received. I'm not particularly satisfied but because my complaint was in regards to just wanting the watch returned I am considering this issue resolved. Thank you for your help if any in getting the matter handled.

Review: Purchased watch on 8/**/12 and the watch fell apart. Sent in for repairs on 9/*/12. Postal confirmation stated watch was received in the repair department on 9/**/12. I called 1/**/13 to see when the watch would be repaired and shipped back to me. I was told [redacted]was moving to a new facility due to the heavy tornado that destroy their building and to call back on 2/**/13 for additional information on my watch. The place [redacted]moved to was "[redacted]. I called on */13 and got no answer in the repair division or customer service. I left several messages and no one responded. In 6/*/13, I finally reached [redacted]in the repair Divsion and she stated the watch was destroyed in that tornado and that she wrote up a ticket for customer service to call and replace the watch. I never received any calls from Customer service. I called 7/**/13 and 7/**/13 no answer. I called again today 7/**/13 at the repair division and reached [redacted] again who transferred me to customer care. No one of course picked-up and I left yet another message. I also sent in another email on April **/13 to the new facility asking for updated information on when customer service would be contacting me on the replacement of my watch. No one bother to respond to that letter either!!! I even left another message today 7/**/13 and no respond.Desired Settlement: I really would like to either get the watch I sent in replaced or refund me the $79.99 I paid for the watch.

Review: I sent a watch to Croton for warranty repair including a check that was cashed to handle shipping and handling. their website customer area on their website acknowledges receipt of my watch on August **, 2012. I have contacted the company more than 15 times - specificaly 6 times in that last 6 weeks. When I spoke with a live person the reposne was the same - someone would get back to me. To date no return call has been recieved by me.Desired Settlement: I was willing in good faith to receive a satifasfactorlly repaired watch, I now feel simply an indenfical replacement watch is appropriate.
