Payment Issue
Payment Issue, They never pay in time. 2 time they did to me. Always asking for payment. Until we don't send mail about payment they don't reply. When we send mail to support team. We have to wait 3 business days. After 3 days they don't have any response. Again sending mail wait for 1 month. How to report this Crowdspring. Is there is law this kind of things what is happening.

Crowdspring (naming and branding crowd sourcing site based in Chicago), which has degenerated into nothing more than a virtual human trafficking of the creative mind. The customer support team has gone from deceitful to snarky to accusatory (it’s YOUR fault you’re not getting paid, creative, as your emails are causing our system to falter) when replying to queries. Crowdspring Founder and CEO Ross *** himself will ultimately respond to creatives seeking answers regarding their payments, with hot air, lame excuses, lies, rigmarole and the good old fashioned run around. For the past 2 years, getting paid for winning names, designs, etc. takes on average 90 days. The website says creatives will be paid in 10. NINETY DAYS or MORE for often times a piddly 200.00 bucks. As a creative, I went from being excited about a “win” to basically dreading it, knowing it would be the start of a long drawn out battle to be paid. It used to be a fun way to make ends meet, (back circa 2012/13… but now it’s a just a ridiculous time-sucking succubus that I no longer care to feed. Don’t waste your time, kids.

The never pay creatives on time. Always give ridiculous excuses with other promises and never keeps them. Simply they don't honor their own words.

I paid to crowdspring.com ( a website to connect and hire various people with computer or software design etc.. skills) a little over $1700.00 USD. The project time-line gives 7 days for those interested to submit proposals in a contest oriented design competition. After 3 days, I received nothing, and now 4 days left, they just "removed" my project. I have asked them why? and they said they dont know, that they'll "look into it" - not only that but the contest was "assured" guaranteeing, blindly initially, that I would pick someone to award, so they were already guaranteed the money, - after all this, I've asked for a refund, informing them that I would go else where. They asked me to call, and I could not because I am currently out of the country. Currently I'm already disputing the charges with my bank, and have already begun emailing consumer protection advocates for consul in the case this escalates. There is no history of payment, or history of my project, in my online account with them. These are people that do not understand business ethics or the importance of timelines in business, or the latter. This was my first and last experience with this company. their claim is 99% customer satisfaction with a B- in Revdex.com?? think again, I regret not doing my due diligence on this company before I paid them. I think their entire business model is FRAUD, and they only intend to SCAM people out of their money. Stay AWAY, Buyer BEWARE. If you're conducting a similar project for your business, CONTACT / STICK WITH THE PRO'S.

Hi there,

I have used CrowdSpring to help me create a logo for my company, costing $899USD. Unfortunately, there have been some issues on their end with their mobile platform. I have been unable to use it properly, and they have said they have been working on it (which I have documented). I have voiced my complaint to them multiple times and have let them know that I am unable to use their mobile site properly, but they are very adamant that there is nothing they can do to get my money back. Their response is to use a computer, which I don’t do. They do not say on their website that I must use a computer to use their services. The co-founder Ross *** called me last Friday, which was nice of him, to talk about the issues I was having. He let me know that crowdSpring just made an update to the mobile platform and I was the first customer to have an issue. He said that they were going to push a new update on Monday after the weekend. As of now I am still having issues with their site.

The issues I’ve had are: Unable to see the logos properly on my mobile devices that designers have made for me. I am unable to comment properly on them to give the designers feedback to help change the designs. CrowdSpring has seen my issues because I sent around 10 of the same comment to 2 different designers, so they know I’ve had issues.

Their solution has been to update my summary (brief) to communicate with the designers. I have only 3 days left in the project and have not been able to communicate hardly anything to the designers.

I have spent $899 USD and they are making me change how I’m doing things on their site just to suit their issues. All I wanted was to cancel the project and get a refund so that it wouldn’t waste anymore of people’s time.

Their answer continues to be, “Elite projects are nonrefundable. We are working on the issues with mobile.“ Meaning that I have to suffer while they work out their issues. That’s just not proper business practices.
