Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] First contact with HKC was attempted April with [redacted] After speaking with ***, he assured me that my house had withstood storm damage from the minimal winds during the storm the night prior He made this assertion over the phone and refused to even look at the issues, treating a customer with a very rude attitude and poor customer service A notice of pending legal action was sent to [redacted] (Quality Manager) of HKC in addition to the initial Revdex.com complaint, simultaneously, on April around 3pm [redacted] returned correspondence and agreed to take a look at the issues He came to the property days later and agreed to fix several of the issues brought up Those problems were: to work on the front porch cover, which he had stated at the time was done incorrectly and should have had bends in the metal to prevent it from rippling The fascia he also stated that "(he) did not like the way that looks and was installed" would also be addressed to prevent water from damaging the soffits There were several spots where no evidence of a fastener was present to hold the material flush with the fascia board beneath HKC did not install the roof but did offer and agree to address the issues present, installing flashing on a soffit which they had installed All of these matters were to be addressed the following week; however, on the date they agreed to do the work, they neither called nor showed Later that day, while at a local home improvement store, I ran into [redacted] and asked why they did not make their appointment His reply was simply put that "(they) were busy and he did not know when they would have the time I asked when they would be out and he again stated "(he) did not know because (they) are real busy and thanks for the Revdex.com complaint" and then walked away After this incident [redacted] was contacted and made aware of all matters that had occurred to that point He reassured me that the company did stand by its work and that they would address the issues discussed He agreed that his employee [redacted] was rude for making the comments that he did and apologized for that as well as the fact that they did not show on the date scheduled [redacted] then sent me an email on the afternoon of April (same day of the incident) and stated that they would be out to address the issues on Monday, April Now here I sit, after a day waiting for this company to show up and make good on its word, left disappointed and frustrated The author of the company's response should check the facts before making argumentative statements that are untrue Nothing that needs to be addressed was done correctly in the first place, contrary to what has been stated Possibly more importantly, HKC should realize that a Revdex.com complaint was step number in this process after being told off by the sales representative ( [redacted] ) responsible for my contract on the first date I attempted to make notice of the issues, April The complaint was NOT "made after (they) had already met with (me)." So, what is it that the consumer would like to resolve this matter? I want HKC to do what they said they would do Prove that you are a company that stands by your word, like you promised me and like you so boldly advertise across town Show up on time, the day you say you're going to, and fix what should have been done properly in the first place

HKC's Quality Manager went out to meet Mr***The work on the front porch cover was done correctly, but since HKC had built the roof over the front porch the framing of it has settled causing the metal that was put up to ripple, HKC agreed to redo the metal work on the porchThe porch
columns had a small gap at the bottom that HKC agreed should be covered all the way to the ground. The fascia that HKC had installed on the back of the house was blown off by wind, HKC also agreed to fix this problemThe leak issue was from an improperly done valley on the roof, HKC did not install the roof on this house, but did offer to help Mr*** fix the issue along with a couple other issues that we noticed with the roof as a good faith measure
HKC Agreed to fix all the issues and some others that were not their fault (roofing related)Mr*** is right he is still under warranty, and HKC will stand behind that warranty at all times
Also HKC agreed to do all of this work before we made aware of this complaintThe complaint was made after we had already met with the customerAs to why this was made after the fact I have no idea

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted]

First contact with HKC was attempted April 3 with [redacted].  After speaking with [redacted], he assured me that my house had withstood storm damage from the minimal winds during the storm the night prior.  He made this assertion over the phone and refused to even look at the issues, treating a customer with a very rude attitude and poor customer service.
A notice of pending legal action was sent to [redacted] (Quality Manager) of HKC in addition to the initial Revdex.com complaint, simultaneously, on April 7 around 3pm.  [redacted] returned correspondence and agreed to take a look at the issues.  He came to the property 2 days later and agreed to fix several of the issues brought up.
Those problems were: to work on the front porch cover, which he had stated at the time was done incorrectly and should have had bends in the metal to prevent it from rippling.  The fascia he also stated that "(he) did not like the way that looks and was installed" would also be addressed to prevent water from damaging the soffits.  There were several spots where no evidence of a fastener was present to hold the material flush with the fascia board beneath.  HKC did not install the roof but did offer and agree to address the issues present, installing flashing on a soffit which they had installed.
All of these matters were to be addressed the following week; however, on the date they agreed to do the work, they neither called nor showed.  Later that day, while at a local home improvement store, I ran into [redacted] and asked why they did not make their appointment.  His reply was simply put that "(they) were busy and he did not know when they would have the time.  I asked when they would be out and he again stated "(he) did not know because (they) are real busy and thanks for the Revdex.com complaint" and then walked away.
After this incident [redacted] was contacted and made aware of all matters that had occurred to that point.   He reassured me that the company did stand by its work and that they would address the issues discussed.  He agreed that his employee [redacted] was rude for making the comments that he did and apologized for that as well as the fact that they did not show on the date scheduled.
[redacted] then sent me an email on the afternoon of April 13 (same day of the incident) and stated that they would be out to address the issues on Monday, April 20.  Now here I sit, after a day waiting for this company to show up and make good on its word, left disappointed and frustrated.
The author of the company's response should check the facts before making argumentative statements that are untrue.  Nothing that needs to be addressed was done correctly in the first place, contrary to what has been stated.  Possibly more importantly, HKC should realize that a Revdex.com complaint was step number 2 in this process after being told off by the sales representative ([redacted]) responsible for my contract on the first date I attempted to make notice of the issues, April 3.  The complaint was NOT "made after (they) had already met with (me)."
So, what is it that the consumer would like to resolve this matter?  I want HKC to do what they said they would do.  Prove that you are a company that stands by your word, like you promised me and like you so boldly advertise across town.  Show up on time, the day you say you're going to, and fix what should have been done properly in the first place.
