Review: I contracted Crown Colony to replace the roof on my house in September, 2011, and have had one persistent leak around the skylight in my master bath. They attempted to repair it twice with no success. John R[redacted], the owner came out to look at the leak after I again called him last year when we had to deal with the leak during last year awful snowstorms. We had plaster coming down and plenty of water, water stains, etc and had to place buckets on the floor to catch the water to save the floor tile. He said that they would repair it with a new rubber product, but have not heard from him. His phone number cannot accept any more messages, as it's full. His e-mail is now non-functional. I called his project manager, Roger R** at ###-###-####, who said he would get back to me and he no longer answers my calls. I want to file in small claims court but I think that the business has closed and has gone into bankruptcy. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do ?Desired Settlement: I would k
e him to repair the problem and take care of the internal damage to the plaster around the leak. We have had to deal with melting snow, rain, falling plaster, water on floor, and it needs to be repaired.
Review: I had a deck installed by Crown Colony construction and over the course of the winter several of the deck boards had chunks of wood break off while shoveling the snow of my deck. Also the whole deck creaks when you walk on it. I tried contacting [redacted] numerous times via phone call or emails beginning in June 2014 to schedule him to come back to my house to check out the deck board damage and issues. [redacted]Crown Colony Construction[redacted]Each time I did reach [redacted], he said he would be out within the week to check on my problem. It is now 2 months later and [redacted]/Crown Colony construction have yet to make it to my house to start any work or resolution to my deck issues. Per the contract I signed, I have a 2 year warranty on products/services associated with this deck and deck build. I list this as a product issue but it crosses contract, customer service, guarantee/warranty, repair, service and even a collections issue as Crown Colony failed to pay a lumbar company for materials they purchased to build my deck and this resulted in a lien on my house/property. The whole deck build took much longer than what was stated in the contract and resulted in a very unsatisfied customer. The whole deck build was a fiasco from day one.Desired Settlement: I need this company or whomever to come back out to my house ASAP and fix the issues with my deck. The deck boards that have issues are a safety hazard and could cause injury to anyone who comes in contact with these deck boards.
