My experience with Crown Community was absolutely horrible I had to postpone my closing due to outstanding issues that were not correctedCrown management threaten to sell my home to another person because I had complaints about unfinished work in the home before closing Most of the sod in my yard was dead before closing and they refused to replace it and they didn'tI had to replace the dead sod at my own expense Alex the builder refused to correct many drywall issues and crown molding imperfections throughout the house I have a video of Alex the builder saying that he refused to correct anymore issues in the homeTotally poor service

After closing...you will have better luck plucking a turkey with your teeth than getting them to fix anything
Don't believe anything they say even if their tongues are notarized
They will not fix anythingThey don't show up for scheduled appointments and even with the warranty book in hand they tell you an item is not under warranty

Purchasing this home with Crown communities has been one of the most stressful things I've ever doneAs a first time home buyer, I didn't know what to expectI did know that the experience should not have gone like thisInitially the wrong bricks and trim were placed on our homeThey claimed that it was system error and that nothing could be doneOur options were to move to another lot and start building again or accept itWe accepted it with conditions that they would upgrade our staircase to the wrought iron and spindles and also add a deck to our backyard because of the drop offBuilding resumed until our next hurdle, our first walk throughThere were numerous repairs that needed to be made, some cosmetic and some mechanicalOn the second walk through, which was hours before our closing, we arrived to find that the house was in worse shape than it was from the previous walk through just days beforeThe appliances weren't installed and we did not have gas or waterThe back splash had just been completed that day and the contractor had left their trash and debris everywhere in the kitchenWe were then informed that the back splash and the counter tops were installed incorrectly and that they would have to repaired...again, this is on our closing dayWe completed a WCA with the Superintendent and were informed that these items would be completed within the weekFast forward to about weeks later, the repairs have finally been completed and we were informed that a cleaning crew would come to clean the kitchen from the debris and grout left by the same contractorsI took off work today and no one showed upI have yet to even receive a call stating that they may have been running late or that they need to rescheduleThroughout this process, I have emailed numerous contacts at the Crown corporate office, to no availCrown has no regard in satisfying its customers at allI will make sure that no one I know, friend or family, ever lays another brick with this company

Purchasing my house from Crown was the biggest mistake. Their customer service is beyond terrible. It has been almost 2 years since we moved in and they still haven't done 10 months walk through and they are not responding our e-mails.

I would never encourage anyone to buy a Crown Communities Home.
Terrible workmanship i'm so disappointed in stuff I found wrong with house
after the fact when things start popping up. We had found so much wrong on
the first walk through and when we did the final we were rushed. Plenty of the
items from first walkthrough were never corrected. House was filthy never cleaned
but I was not surprised. I did not have much of a choice on closing because I was
from out of state could not play games needed a place to live. Stay clear of this
Builder not worth the future headaches.

I will NEVER buy another Crown home. Everything is good within the 1st 6 months, after that you might as well re build your own house. customer service/warranty department never answers their phones, but they are quick to respond to complaints online and close the case with no resolution. I wouldn't be surprise if the company goes under. I know as a veteran I will be sure to always warn others in the military community to never buy with crown. I am very displeased with the one person they have in the warranty department that needs a few lessons on customer service. Even when I did have some things fixed during the 10 month warranty, that took place after that date because of the back and forth, I found out later the service was incomplete and now they claim "it is no longer under warranty". They will not give you the number to Corporate but they respond with the building warranty number. This company is a joke.
