Crown Counter Tops

Review: We wish to file a complaint against Crown Counter Tops located on [redacted](TEL: [redacted]) for failing to deliver on its promise of constructing and installing cabinets for the hotel business center and breakfast bar. We had received an initial verbal promise from Crown Counter Tops that they will deliver the cabinets within 6 to 8 weeks upon payment of half of the quoted amount. A cheque was duly written on May 8th 2014 for the amount of $1,500.00. To date nothing has been delivered and when we call to check we are told that work is ahead of schedule and that they are almost ready to come in and install the cabinets.We are unable to get a fixed date on when Crown Counter Tops intend to come in to install the cabinets.

This is becoming a cause for concern as so far all we have received are verbal promises and nothing in writing to confirm the date of completion and installation.Desired Settlement: We request for a quick solution to this matter either that Crown Counter Tops return the deposit paid or come in and install the said cabinets as promised ASAP.

To whom it may concern,

In regards to the [redacted] job your reference #[redacted]. We quoted a price and a deposit was received on 5/8/14 in the amount of $1,500.00. We estimated the time of completion to be 6 - 8 weeks. All materials were ordered and parts were cut. We were waiting for the custom doors to arrive so we could assemble and finish the job. During that time we received a call from [redacted] the manager of the Ramada inn. He informed us that if we did not finish the job by that Friday he would be taking us to court. We had not yet received the custom doors yet so meeting his deadline would be impossible. So the doors ordered was canceled.

We appreciate the difficulties and expense this has caused both of us. Our only option is to start the job over again from the beginning. We are willing to absorb any cost of re using materials that were used on other jobs, if they are willing to work with us on a new time table.
