Crown Court Apartments Reviews (2)

Worth property management/apartment complex to live at I have lived at the Crown Court Apartments for six months Fortunately I only signed a month lease and I am halfway done with dealing with the ss that run the officeSince day one, my family and I have had nothing but problems maintenance wise and amenity wise It started with a dryer that did not heat correctly It took minutes to dry pairs of men's boxers According to the office, this was and were not willing to fix it until I put up a bigger stink about it Eventually a maintenance worker came to my home and literally cleared the lint trap inside the dryer and said "ok, your good to go!" Thank you, but I know how to clear a lint trap I once again called the office to advise them the problem was still not fixed After a couple more times of the maintenance person coming out and doing to exact same thing, they found out that the tube going from the back of the dryer to the outside of the building was blocked and a fire hazard Even after they knew it was a fire hazard, it took them another month to get the proper machine to clear the line All in all, it took over two month to have a properly working dryer
The apartment has termites (my husband is a state certified pest control technician) Once again, I put in a work order for this to be remedied and nothing has happened as of today, six months later I asked them to produce an invoice stating this was taken care of, and the response the office gave me was "Your request will be forwarded to the corporate office."
The toilet has a huge crack down the side, which a work order was put in the day I moved inStill not fixed as of today, six months later
Water faucet outside my patio drips none stop, I put in a request to have this fixed Their brilliant remedy to fix this was putting a cap on it Guess whatit still leaks The office stated, "This faucet is for the use of maintenance only." Funny thing isI pay for the water and every other resident has a working faucet with their personal hoses connected to it
There is a lady a few doors down from me that chains her dog up in the common area This dog has been very aggressive towards my kids when they are playing (with me watching them of course) The office has not done anything about this either
The carpet tacks are coming up and the carpet lifts around the fireplace, kitchen and all transitions My six month older daughter cannot crawl around without getting massive scratched because of this I notified the office of this issue months ago, once again, nothing has been done
Parking is awful!
Doors and windows do not seal correctly Heat and drafts come through You can see light through the front doorAccording to the office, "this is because the apartments are years old."
Landscape is always extremely over grown My children and I cannot even walk on the sidewalk without branched poking and scratching us
My apartment is closest to the smaller of the two pools The first two times I took my kids there, we were told to (a) leave the gate open by other resident's, and (b) kids were not allowed at this pool I notified the office of this issue as it is a safety hazard and fair housing issue Still, nothing has been done
The office is extremely unprofessional on all levels They are nice right up until you sign the lease After that, when they have you locked in, they are complete *** holes and dont maintain anything or give to shi*** about anyone or anything All they care about is collecting their rent and god help you if that is not on time!!!!!
This apartment complex does not abide by fair housing, fire code, or any kind of business ethics
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT LIVE AT THE CROWN COURT APARTMENTS OR ANY OTHER PILLAR COMMUNITIES PROPERTY!!!!

Worth property management/apartment complex to live at. I have lived at the Crown Court Apartments for six months. Fortunately I only signed a 12 month lease and I am halfway done with dealing with the ss that run the office. Since day one, my family and I have had nothing but problems maintenance wise and amenity wise. It started with a dryer that did not heat correctly. It took 180 minutes to dry 4 pairs of men's boxers. According to the office, this was normal and were not willing to fix it until I put up a bigger stink about it. Eventually a maintenance worker came to my home and literally cleared the lint trap inside the dryer and said "ok, your good to go!". Thank you, but I know how to clear a lint trap. I once again called the office to advise them the problem was still not fixed. After a couple more times of the maintenance person coming out and doing to exact same thing, they found out that the tube going from the back of the dryer to the outside of the building was blocked and a fire hazard. Even after they knew it was a fire hazard, it took them another month to get the proper machine to clear the line. All in all, it took over two month to have a properly working dryer.

The toilet has a huge crack down the side, which a work order was put in the day I moved in... Still not fixed as of today, six months later.

The office stated, "This faucet is for the use of maintenance only." Funny thing is... I pay for the water and every other resident has a working faucet with their personal hoses connected to it.

Doors and windows do not seal correctly. Heat and drafts come through. You can see light through the front door. According to the office, "this is normal because the apartments are 25 years old."

Landscape is always extremely over grown. My children and I cannot even walk on the sidewalk without branched poking and scratching us.
