Review: I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005 with a contract, amount of loan $20,534.35 at %5.74 for 59 months of a payment of $395.45 from Crown Dodge in Ventura, California in 7/2012. They financed me through Western Federal Credit Union, who financed me with all the same terms except it is for 72 months. Nobody from the dealership notified me of this change and I just recently found a piece of mail addressed to my mother that had this information. My complaint is that the terms do not match the sales contract and the amount of the loan would be paid off in 59 months as the car dealership contract states, unless the amount of the loan, interest rate, or payment amount was different. In short, the loan terms at 72 months does not add up to $20,534.35 with interest - at a interest rate of 5.74% - with a payment of $395.45 - as the letter states.Desired Settlement: I want the loan to reflect what I originally signed to in the sales contract and reflect a loan age of what the terms are which is $20,534.35, at 5.74% interest, at a payment amount of 395.45.

Business

Response:

Western Federal Credit Union was contacted and it was an internal inadvertant error on their part that a letter went out to the customer indicating a 72 month loan. The Customer's account reflects a loan amount of $20,534.35 at 5.74% with a payment of $395.45 for 59 months. Western Federal Credit Union will be sending a letter of correct to the customer indicating the above. The representative from Western Federal Credit Union who corrected this was Ameen. If the customer has any further questions they can contact Dan Wallis, Operations Manager @ Crown Dodge directly. Thank you.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9531075, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, Gary Pough e-mailed that as of 3:30 today his system has not been updated and sent me a letter with the old terms on it. I'll wait for the new letter and appreciate Crown Dodge's prompt resolution to this matter.

Review: my car was serviced at this dealership for a scratch upon purchse of the vehicle it was in the contract to fix the problem. the dealership repaired the vehicle and provided me witha rental car while my vehicle was being serviced remind you this as around april 2014 and recently around 11jun 14 I started recieving phone calls from a collection agency wanting me to pay for a rental car that was provided through crown dodge of ventura. this is very unprofessinal of the dealership I have contacted the dealership and they claim to be working on the issue but the information they are sending the collector if not the right info I feel that I should not have to deal with this issue it should be between the dealership and the collection agency in which the crown dodge dealership should be reliable to pay not myself the consumer whos responsibility was not to have to pay for the car in the first place my credit score should not be affected because of the dealerships mistake.Desired Settlement: pay the collection agency have them stop harassing me and fix this before it gets put on my credit report and if it has been put on there already I want it removed this dealership is by far the worst I have ever had to deal with.

Review: Almost a month ago my Husband and I bought a 2004 Dodge Durango from Crown Dodge. in that time frame the car has been in the service center for all but maybe 8 days of that month. This last time it was in the shop for over a week. we were told that the part arrived but the service manager kept pulling people from our car to work on someone elses. 2 day after getting it back once again the check engine light comes on again! as of 11/2/13 it is once again in the service center. at this point I would like to request for Crown Dodge to exchange the car or give us our money back and everyone walk away. because apperantly they sold a car that was in no way ready to be sold.Desired Settlement: refund or replacement

I am rejecting this response because: I am not happy that I took home a car that we are waiting to break again. The sales manager and service manager manager kept telling me that I am frustrated and thats all. Than had the nerve to compair my situation to his saying that his check engine light came on when his girlfriend filled up his car. I am sorry but this isn't a car you just got and can't drive.

According to California dmv you cut me lose or trade me. Not force a unhappy customer to take home a car that has broken 4 times. By the way there are over 700 miles put on this car since purchase. I can account of 400 of them what about the other 300. Thats a lot of test driving you guys did. Oh and you have to fix my car because it is under warranty. You did not do it out of the goodness of your heart.

Review: In July of 2011 I purchased a certified pre owned 2009 challenger r/t from Crown Dodge, and left with the peace of mind of having a great car with a "clean carfax". Years later (April of 2014) I go to trade the challenger in and I find out its been in two accidents by the first owner, and one of them causing structural damage to the vehicle. The first one being in November of 2010 and the second in June of 2011. I understand there is a delay time between carfax and the reported incident, but over 10 months is out of the question to me. Not to mention if the vehicle is a "certified pre-owned" vehicle shouldn't the car have gone through some type of point inspection by the dodge staff? Why was the damage not found then? Also I have been in contact with carfax customer service and they have expressed that there is not a reason why the dealership report I was shown didn't have the accidents.I have gone to two different dealerships regarding the trade in value of my challenger and have been turned away by both with them stating they would not take the challenger in on trade for two reasons 1. It was an extreme liability to stamp their name on a vehicle with structural damage to it 2. If they did take it they would only be able to give me the wholesale value of what it's worth because they would not attempt to resell the car with this kind of report.Essentially I am stuck into a vehicle that is not safe for me, my family, or even other drivers on the road. I have tried to contact the dealership directly to voice my issues, and have it resolved, and was told that because they had no knowledge of the damage at the time that it was "clean" and not their issue. I requested to speak to the General Manger of the establishment, and still have yet to be called by this person a few days after the initial contact with Crown Dodge staff.Desired Settlement: I request crown dodge to take the vehicle back, and buy out the remaining lien. So my family and I are no longer affected by their deceptive business practices.

Business

Response:

Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM runs a CAR Fax report on every used vehicle we take in on trade and or purchase. At the time of this sale to Mr. Reed, the car fax showed no accidents had been reported. Mr. Reed is welcome to come to the Dealership and we would gladly take his vehicle back as a trade in on another vehicle.

Business

Response:

I have spoke to Mr. [redacted], via telephone and have stated the facts. As stated before, when the vehicle was sold to Mr. [redacted] Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM ran a CAR FAX the report showed no accidents. We gladly take the vehicle in trade.

I am rejecting this response because: due to the devalued state of the vehicle accepting a lowered price is not an option. Unless crown dodge plans on giving me the true value of the vehicle. Making an 8 hour trip is not worth the time

Review: Crown dodge advertised trucks for sale in newspaper (Ventura star) and on internet and is impossible to qualify for all rebates. Review: Approximately a year ago, I took my vehicle in for repair under warranty. I was given a rental that was covered under warranty, which I repeatedly asked if I would be charged and was told "NO". Received a billing statement from rental company, Hertz, April or May 2015. I contacted Crown Dodge and was told to send the statements and they would handle the situation, since they were having "issues" with them. I faxed my information and believed they handled it. I received a collection notification on 6/11/15, stating the debt was in collections. I contacted Crown Dodge and left a message for S[redacted], manager. Pending a return call. Extremely upset and disappointed in their "Customer Service"!!Desired Settlement: For Crown Dodge to pay their bills! Customer should not have to pay for something they should have handled a very long time ago! They need to pay the bill and have me removed from collections immediately.

Business

Response:

Rental Agreement for Veronica Conejo has been paid. Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM has proven that this billing has been paid and we are diligently working to clear up this matter. The customer was e-mailed proof of payment on 6/15/15. We have also requested Hertz to contact the collection agency Network Commercial Collections to correct the records.

Review: I bought a Dodge Chrysler 200, 2015 with 10,533 miles and stopped on me as drove home. I would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of the situation I'm going through with the car I purchased on 8/18/15. Mr. R[redacted] sold me the car and it was paid in cash, a total of $19,581.01. The first problem I had was when I was on my way home and I made a right turn by the Honda dealership the car stopped and gave me a series of messages, "Shift To P Then Desired Gear", "Service Trans Stop Safely Shut Off Engine To Engage Park", "Engage Park Break To Prevent Rolling" I then attempted to do what it asked and it would not move. I put my emergency lights on and luckly Mr. S[redacted] was behind me and he also attempted to help me get the car to start and it took about 2 minutes to get it to finally turn off and back on. I made it home and then the next morning on my way to work I had the same situation when I made a turn into the parking lot. When I made the turn it slowed down into neutral and I pressed the gas petal and I was able to get it to a parking spot when it started to give me the same messages. After work on my way home I had to pull over to the side of the road three times because it slowed down and gave me the messages to engage in park. On my way to the dealership again it stopped on me as I was getting off the 101 off ramp. I managed to turn it off and on and it then made it to the Service Department. I dropped it off at the Service Department at Crown Dodge by 6pm right when it was already closed and Cliff took my information down and wrote down the issues and said he would contact me the next day. Following day it was being tested according to Cliff. Friday I received a message that there was good news and that they made a repair and replaced the Transmission Control Module and it was shifting fine. I picked it up today in the morning and drove home, but I had to stop to fill up the tank because there was absolutely no gas in it. When I bought it I was only given a 1/4 tank of gas, which is something else, I believe after paying almost 20k I should be given a full tank of gas. Back to my main issue, I made it home, then when I was on my way out this afternoon I turned the car on and all the lights on the shifter turned on and I received the same messages I got before. I couldn't shift to any gear, and turn the car off. I walked away from it thinking maybe it would shut off on its own because it's remote keyless and it didn't. I tried everything, pressing the turn off button, turned the shifter gears to back up and drive and the messages would not go away and let me start the car. After a while around 10 minutes, it finally let me turn it off. I called Chrysler Customer Service and explained my situation and a case was opened. They sent a tow truck to my house to pick up the car and take it to the Service Department at Crown Dodge. The man working for the tow company couldn't get the car to start as well. After trying a couple times he got it to back up and was able to tow it. I received a call from Isabel in the service department and I gave her the same information regarding the messages and situation.Desired Settlement: At this point I am seeking my money refunded back to me because this has been the worst car experience in my life. I understand I signed a contract to not return the car back in two days, but this is not about me not wanting the car, it's about my safety. The car is beautiful, but safety is not guaranteed for me in that car. I am appalled by how many negative reviews exist. Not only from Yelp, but also on Facebook. It seems like I'm not the only person who has gone through a bad situation with this dealership. I wish I would have looked at Yelp before deciding to purchase my car there. I sure learned my lesson. I want the dealer to rebuy my car and my money back. I am pursuing legal action if I don not get a refund. It is unfair that this has not only happened to me, but other people with different situations and same location. I also noticed other dealerships are required to pass an 182 point inspection before leaving the dealership. I do not see this information listed on the

Review: My grandmother and I bought a 2009 nissan altima from crown dodge of ventura.6300 king st.ventura ca. 93003. As soon as I tried to drive the car out of town the transmission started having problems. Took the car in dodge said nothing wrong with the car it happened again took car back. Dodge cent the car to Nissan of Oxnard they cent car back to dodge telling them to service the transmission and they will be ordering parts that will take 3 months to get in . Meanwhile dodge tried to return the car to me with out servicing the transmission and lied to me about what Nissan said. I have the paper work that was cent to dodge. That said the transmission was over filled . Wich I got the car from them that way.then they offered to put me in a new car but want me to pay for the nissan still.crazy talk. I tried to get them to put me in a rental for the time the car is in there shop they would only give me one for a couple days at a time. They also told us the car came with a warranty lie they charged us $2000. When we went back in to fix the contract they lied about it again . My grandmother and I are disabled and left with out a car . At this point alls I want is my money back so I can find another car for us.this is creating a hard ship for the both of us tring to make our medical appointments and genrole living. Please contact me if any othet information is needed. If you will please respond to this email so I know it has arrived to you . Thank youDesired Settlement: I want is my money back so I can find another car for us

Business

Response:

After speaking to our service manager, the only time the 2009 Nissan Altima acts up is in a high altitude situation. We have asked the local Nissan Dealer to help us repair this vehicle, which will be under warranty at no cost the customer. Nissan has put a rush on the part for us. The part should be in sooner than anticipated. Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM will follow-up with Nissan to track the part and notify customer on it's arrival. The customer signed a contract with the warranty included in the purchase. Customer has been put in rentals at no charge to them while the vehicle was here for service.

Response:

Our goal is to make sure your vehicle gets repaired. The fluids have been changed in the transmission. Our Service Manager says the vehicle is drivable. We have been in contact with Nissan and they have put a rush on the part for us, we will contact you as soon as we hear the part is available.

I am rejecting this response because:your service manager is a lier and I cant believe a word he says. He lied to me about what nissan said about the car and tried to hide the paper work from me . if the car is safe to drive why was I told not to drive up any hills or in hot weather . Why did your service guy give me a rental when I told him I had to go out of town, becouse he knows the car is not safe or reliable.. why did one of your sales men have to sneak around to get me the paper work from Nissan, it was besouse he new you where lying to me and trying to hide the fact that car has problems . Why did your salesman , servicemen come up with the idea of you all buying the car back and selling me a new one then be shady and try to add the price of th nissan. Bottom line your company sold me a car that should not have been sold. You put me in a unsafe car. I find it hard to believe how car car lot would even let someone test drive a car that needed brakes. Crown dodge has no sense of concern for the general public its only about getting the money. I strongly believe your company new the car had tranny problems when you solds me the car not to mention the knowledge that the car needed brakes all the time you let the general public test drive it. I just want my money back so I can try and find a safe car to get my family around in. I will not respond through this sight again you may call me to set up a time for you to give my money back .

Review: My hemi engine broke down after only 85000miles, Crown Dodge quoted me repair of about 12000$ !!!It was not even while deiving the car, just had it parked and after a restart, there were loud noises from the engine. After towed it to the dealer they told me to do something for me with Dodge directly. But nothing happened, They told me the warranty of Dodge is only for the first owner, 5 years or 100000 miles, and I'm the second owner now for 2 months and 2000miles. Car was always maintained at Dodge, so how can this happen with this low mileage? Why is anybody responsible for it? Found a hundred of same issues online, just search for "Dodge valveseat dropped". And nobody cares? Car was now about 2 weeks at the dealership, they told me to call me if there is a solution, now suddenly I can take my car away or just repair it for 12000$ !!! No warranty, because it was about 2500$, but even if I have it, it would not cover this engine failure, because the valve seat is a non-lubricated part of the engine.Desired Settlement: Somebody gets Dodge itself to pay for this known issue on the engine. It's a used car, I know I have to pay something, but this engine failure is the result of bad engineering by Dodge. so somebody have to find a solution.

Review: I BOUGHT A NEW JEEP CHEROKEE LATITDE LESS THEN TWO WEEKS AGO AND IT ALREADY BROKE DOWN. I TOOK IT TO CROWN DODGE IN VENTURA WHICH IS WHERE I BOUGHT IT FROM AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I CANNOT EXCHANNGE IT AND THAT CARS BREAK DOWN THIS EARLY ALL THE TIME.Desired Settlement: I DONT WANT THAT SUV ANYMORE, I WILL TAKE ONE EXACTLY LIKE IT BUT NOT THE ONE THAT JUST BROKE DOWN. IF THEY DO NOT WANT TO GIVE ME ANOTHER CAR I WOULD LIKE MY DOWN PAYMENT BACK AND THEY COULD KEEP THE CAR

Review: Crown Dodge had my Caravan in for an oil change which was improperly done, resulting in an oil slick staining my driveway. While they corrected the car issue, and made two attempts to remove the oil stain from my driveway, the stain remains. They promised to send a "steam-cleaner" to complete the job, but it's now been 3 weeks+ and they won't even return my calls. I had been communicating with R[redacted] and W[redacted].Desired Settlement: I'd like the driveway stain removed as they agreed that they would in July.

Review: This complaint pertains to the dishonest and unprofessional tactics employed by Crown Dodge of Venturas (Crown) a Sales Consultant (Agent) and his supporting senior staff. I purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Crown on Jul. 31, 2015. I was cheated and lied to on numerous occasions throughout the entire process. I cant help but attribute some of Crowns employees behavior to the fact that my purchase occurred on a late Friday afternoon on the last day of the month. In short, after Agent (with Sales Manager approval) provided his "final" figure of $29,995 (which price he and his sales manager only agreed to after I showed them the Online listing of the vehicle), I informed Agent that my wife and I were still not interested as we had concerns about future repairs given that the vehicle was a prior rental fleet vehicle. After consulting with Sales Manager, the Agent offered the $29,995 price WITH (1) bumper to bumper 100,000 mile warranty, (2) 2.5 years of free oil changes and (3) 3 free tanks of gas. It wasn't until about 15 minutes after arriving home that I noticed was charged $2,895 EXTRA for a warranty service contract. I left a VM for Agent explaining the erroneous charge and resulting frustration. The Agent eventually called me back and agreed that the bumper to bumper was included in the $29,995 price. He also sent the following text pinning the mistake on the finance manager: "Aris is new in finance - Rookie". I spoke with Agent the next day (Sat. Aug. 1) and was told that I had to make the 30+ mile drive to rectify situation. Shortly after my arrival it was clear the Agent and his senior/managing colleagues had consulted and conspired a story. Agent claimed that the $29,995 price was not the deal but rather the deal was based on the monthly payment he scribbled on a one page paper. Insisting throughout my discussions with him that I would either pay cash or use my own financing the monthly payment was/is completely irrelevant. There is more but I've run out of space....Desired Settlement: Of the three additional items I was promised for the $29,995 price: I was charged an extra $2,895; told I could only actually get 2 years of oil changes and have yet to receive reimbursement for my first gas receipt submitted to Agent on Aug. 6. As resolution, I either (i) want Crown to pay $2,895 for promised bumper to bumper warranty, 2.5 years of oil changes and 3 tanks of gas OR (ii) cancel vehicle purchase and I will return vehicle.

Business

Response:

I have tried numerous time to contact customer. He has also called me a few times and we are missing each other. I left a message for Mr G[redacted] on Friday Sept 11, 2015 telling him the Service Contract he was charged for was cancelled and the funds were sent back to the lender due to the fact that the vehicle is still financed. I asked him to bring me or send me his gas receipts for 3 fill ups of gas and we will refund him the money. We can not give him 2.5 years of oil changes they are only offered in full 2 year increments. We will add 4 years essential care Maintence to his vehicle.

I am rejecting this response as we are still in discussions and I am waiting to hear back from a representative of Crown Dodge. I spoke with this representative on Tuesday Sep. 15. The majority of our conversation was focused on my clarifying the issue surrounding the bumper-to-bumper warranty. Specifically, I explained that the reversal of the ~$2,900 warranty charge from my sales contract did not address my issue as the crux of the issue is that the agreed upon selling price of the vehicle was WITH the extended warranty included (i.e., no additional charge for the extended warranty). I encouraged the representative to speak directly with the other employees at Crown Dodge that were involved in the transaction and are fully aware and informed of the substance of my complaint.

Review: We bought a 2014 Dodge Durango from Crown Dodge last November. We specified what options we wanted and that we would not accept aftermarket parts. We wanted three items: 1) Dual climate control 2) Satelite radio 3) Backup camera. We negotiated the deal with [redacted] who told us that our down payment would go towards installing the items we requested. We filled out our paperwork with the credit dept. which showed a backup camera install and satelite radio with 2 years subscription as part of our deal and nothing about after-market installations being made. My paperwork clearly had the after-market disclaimer area blank. We were given the keys and a due bill.We were told we would receive a call once the parts came in for installation of camera and satelite radio. We did not receive one so we started calling. When I finally was told the parts were in that's when it came to light that the dealer was contracting an outside company to install a non-factory stereo in for the satelite radio and backup camera. We refused. That is not what we agreed to. After much debate they credited the satelite radio charge & we decided to go with the camera install.Since then I have taken my truck back now 7 times for repair. 1st the camera didn't work, they messed up the bluetooth so people couldn't understand me speaking, they disconnected my uconnect, my compas and temperature readout stopped working, radio glitched out. Every time they try to fix something they create more issues.I have been given 3 rental cars as they tried 6 additional times to fix it and failed, not checking to make sure it worked. Finally installing a factory stereo and still it doesn't work and now the headliner is creased and the camera makes a loud noise & screen goes blue.We ask to speak to upper management & are told he has our info, that he's just busy and still I went today to try to pick it up for 7th time & left in the same rental again. They have my truck 10 days now. They need to take the car back replace it with car we agreed & paid for.Desired Settlement: We want Crown Dodge to take our Durango back replacing it with another Durango, same year, similar mileage & condition with the factory installed options we agreed to in our contract when we purchased the truck. No aftermarket parts. We have no confidence that they will be able to fix the problem after 7 attempts to fix & that we will not have future issues because of installation of options by their 3rd party company, Breakers. If not we have no choice but to litigate.

Business

Response:

Vehicle has been replaced.

Consumer

Response:

Hi I received the response you received from the dealership. While I no longer have the truck, what the didn't tell you is that they didn't "Replace" the truck. We were finally able to speak to the sales Manager and worked a deal to trade the broken Durango for a new one with the options we had wanted but we had to give another $3k down payment. So to say they replaced the vehicle is incorrect. They allowed us to trade it in and it cost is additional down parent to do so. We weighed the options to litigate vs. just get out of the vehicle. Either way we would be taking the hit. The sales Mgr. admitted that somee of the sales people were not educated on the new model oprrations mis-informed as to what options were offered on the new models and what could and could not be done.

Review: I had service, a recall, done on my Jeep Liberty at their shop. I was offered an unsolicited rental car for the duration of one day, at their cost. A month and a half later I was told by Hertz that they would be taking my unpaid car to collections since Crown hadn't paid for it...I called both Hertz and Crown to say I wasn't supposed to...Each said the other was to blame. Hertz said Crown hadn't paid and Crown told me not to pay since it was already paid. My credit was adversely affected by this fiasco.Desired Settlement: I would like this to be taken off my credit report without having to pay collections, since I was told I was not responsible.

Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM has paid this billing in full. Please do not pay Hertz and or the collection agency. If Mr. G[redacted] has a print out or evidence that this has effected his credit, Please have him forward this to me and I will have it removed immediately. Review: I wanted to complain due to their unprofessionalism I recently purchased a vehicle from there and left a post dated check and $460 in cash Which the manager[redacted] and the sales person ([redacted]) give me their word that I would be able to go in and pay it cash @ 8.30 tonight 11/19/14after I got off work and cash my check.we made these arrangements so that the check wouldn't get returned. Well I called this morning to make sure that my check was still there and their said it wasn't than I ask why when I made arrangements with Eli in the finance department then they said to call back when he was there so I called back and they couldn't give me an answer why my check wasn't there then they said that they were going to look for my check and locate it and call me back. I kept getting the run around and so I finally called the sales person because I had his number well to get to the bottom of this they are closed now and I haven't received a phone call about what's going on.I'm very upset . This is why I didn't want to leave a check in the first place.Desired Settlement: I want an explanation why after they give me their word.. and want to settle this . Review: Purchased a used RAM 3500 Laramie dually, 9800 miles on 11-10-14 from Crown Dodge, Ventura, CA.When making this purchase we asked the salesman, the sales manager and the finance person for copies of the CARFAX, the vehicle options report and the service record. We were never given these. We had also asked our salesman and the sales manager if this truck did have the AISN transmission. They said yes each time. We asked if the vehicle had been inspected and all fluid levels checked, we were told everything was good to go. When going through the finance department we were discussing the extended warranty plan. We asked the finance man what the deductible was. He said ZERO, several times. This was despite the fact that the booklet we were given said the deductible was $100/$200.When we came back on 11-13-14 with the final payment on the vehicle, we spoke with the finance manager. We again asked about the deductible on the extended warranty, and he told us $100 and showed us the computer screen that said $100. Our contract had no deductible listed. He hand wrote it in. We also asked for the CARFAX and the vehicle options report and service record. He gave us the CARFAX and sent us to service department for the other records. The service advisor pulled up and printed out a copy of the vehicle options. We asked him if this vehicle had the AISIN transmission. He said yes and pointed to the transmission listed on the report. It did not say AISIN it said 68RFE transmission. He assured us this was the AISN.Came home, looked it up, it is NOT the AISIN as stated by salesman, sales manager, and service advisor. The DEF fluid reads at 1/4 full....so they did not check all fluids and make sure they were good to go. Did they even check over the vehicle, we do not know, because everything they said yes to, has turned out to be a lie. We will be taking this vehicle to a different dealer to have it inspected and fluid levels checked to make sure the vehicle is "good to go".Desired Settlement: We spoke to Chrysler Dodge Headquarters, Customer Service Department, and they did not show any maintenance or inspections being done on this vehicle since July 2014. It was sold at auction in August. We are requesting reimbursement for the DEF Fluid that we purchase and also reimbursement for the inspection of the vehicle to make sure that everything is okay with this vehicle, and cover any repairs that need to be done, if any.

Response:

The last service inspection that was done to this vehicle was here at Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM. We will reimburse customer for DEF fluid that was purchased and also for a reasonable price on the inspection. The vehicle is 2013 RAM 3500 and any repairs that need to be done to this vehicle will be done under warranty.

Review: I purchased a vehicle from the business in August of 2013. I brought the vehicle for a routine maintenance in October of 2014. The service manager told me, it would take only a few hours to finish. I waited the whole day, only for them to tell me that the vehicle needed to stay another day or two. They promised me that they would fully compensate me a rental vehicle from Hertz Car Rental. I rented a car from Hertz that same day and returned it 2 days later. I was informed that all charges were taken care of by Crown Dodge. 6 months later, in April of 2015, I received a statement in the mail from Hertz Car Rental requesting I pay the balance (roughly $100.00) of the car rental because Crown Dodge never paid the bill. A week later I received another letter form Hertz threatening to send me to collections if I didn't take care of the issue. I've been trying to reach the Finical Manager, D[redacted], at Crown Dodge since then. I've called and left over 10 voice-mails, a few emails, and about a dozen personal messages for him or someone to call me back. No one has yet to call me. Now I'm forced to pay the bill or be taken to collections and risk damaging my credit.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology email for the lack of business etiquette and customer service from D[redacted]. I would also like a complete reimbursement of the total amount I paid. In addition I would like the Revdex.com to look into this business as myself and about 200 other customers have taken their dissatisfaction with the business to the Yelp.com organization.

Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM would like to first apologize for any inconvenience the Hertz Rental Car problem in billing has caused Mr. G[redacted]. Review: I bought a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab on November 10th, 2014 with a 2 year/24,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. I noticed after driving it that there was something wrong with the transmission. I took it back to Crown Dodge on December 2nd, 2014. They gave me a rental car for only 5 days. They diagnosed the problem within a couple days and told me that 2nd and 3rd gear went out in the transmission, and they will order the parts to just rebuild those two gears instead of replacing the transmission. I didn't get a call for a couple of weeks, so I called around the 15th of December. The service manager told me they have not even gotten to taking my transmission apart yet, but I will have my truck back by the end of the year because I was going on vacation on Dec 26th and needed it to tow a trailer. I called again on December 23rd and they had still not touched my truck, but they just received parts so they will get it done soon. They could not give me a date. No calls for another 2 weeks. So I called AGAIN on January 8th, 2015 and a guy named [redacted] in the service department told me they have it on the lift, they will have my transmission apart by Wednesday, January 14th, and call me back to let me know how much longer they need to fix it. I received no call by 5pm on Jan 14th so I called them. I was told my transmission was still in my truck and had not even been near the lift. He would not give me an estimated day on when it will be taken apart or fixed. They have had my truck for over 6 weeks and have not touched it, and only paid for 5 days total for a rental car. They continue to lie to me about when my truck will be done.Desired Settlement: I made my first truck payment on December 25th, 2014. Since I have not had my truck for over 6 weeks I would like my second and third truck payments waived. I would also like a rental paid for or a loaner truck until my truck is fixed and ready for me to drive off of the lot. I have 2 camping trips coming up (Jan 23rd and Feb 14th) that I planned, knowing I would have my truck to tow my trailer. Please fix this for me. Thank you.

Customer was provided a rental from 1/17/15 to 1/23/15...Vehicle has been repaired and picked up. Customer deductible was waived. Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep and RAM cannot pay Mr. [redacted] car payments, that is the responsibility of the customers. His vehicle was repaired under his extended warranty.

Review: A little more than 3 weeks ago I took my car to the repair service in Crown Dodge in Ventura, they rent a car for me while my SUV was getting fixed, but to get them to cover the rental for all the time my vehicle was in the repair shop it took numerous calls to service, first they told me that the car was going to be covered, then after the fifth day with the rental I notice the rental service was being charged to me in full, so I call Crown Dodge and they resolve me they will pay for the rental as long as they were working in my vhicle, after a week I call again just to check on the status of the repair of my vehicle (I never received a courtesy call from them, not even to let me know how long the repair was going to take) when someone finally pick up the phone, after being on hold for 15 min. they told me the part they order to repair my vehicle will arrive in 2 weeks after that day. After the two weeks I called again (this was yesterday) they told me my car was ready to pick up the same day before 6 p.m. they were just getting ready the car to get it thru the car wash. The problem came when I went to pick up my car from service and returning the rental from Hertz on the next door after Crown Dodge. I am being charge by Hertz $350 dollars suppousely for an upgrade of a car, when I never even got to choose a car they just give me the rental car they decided, period. I told them Crown Dodge was suppouse to pay full amount and they respond that they were not aware of that, and they will chanrge my account unless Crown Dodge resolves the issue and pays for the full amount of the rental. I went back to the dealer to pick up my car, asked to speak to the Manager, she/he was not there anymore, but someone told me that I was going to receive a call the next morning from her/him, until now I haven't received such call. Also my SUV really dirty, they didn't even washed it or check the tire pressure after they said they did an oil change, I thought to check the tire pressure is part of the oil change se.Desired Settlement: I would like Crown Dodge to refund me or pay the $350 dollars Herts rentals is cahrging me for the rental of the car while they were repairing my vehicle, and get my car clean, check the tire pressure and fill out the wipers liquid, I thought the last two items were part of the oil change service, that according to them was done yesterday.

We are disappointed to read that the customers recent experience here at Crown Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM was not satisfactory. We would like to thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We have contacted our customer to apologize. She has returned her vehicle to us and we have cleaned, checked the tire pressure and filled her wiper fluid, in the vehicle. Also we have confirmed with Hertz Rent A Car the customer will be issued a credit for the 345.00 she was charged on her Rental Bill.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9785862, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Also, I want to thank the dealer's manager Terry Vazquez for her help, and to respond to my request inmediately, I also wants to appologize to her once more for the misunderstanding we had about the initial comment when I stated she didn't return my call, she did called me early that morning, but I have left her a wrongfull phone number.

Review: My Jeep Grand Cherokee shuts itself down at anytime without out warning. It has been in the dealership at least 6 times for this fault and as of yet has never been repaired to work properly. The problem started when I had about 20,000 miles on the vehicle and slowly got worse. It has spent 2-2.5 months in the dealership this year and more time last year.I want this resolved and have Chrysler purchase back or trade toward a different vehicle before it happens in an intersection and everyone in the car dies.I was given a case number and now nobody at the dealership or the phone number given will answer or return calls.Case #: 27[redacted]IN: 1C4[redacted]281176Vehicle Description: JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED 4X4 SPORT UTILITY 4-DRDesired Settlement: Exchange or buy back
