[redacted] and her husband [redacted], as customers of Crown LP Gas, had signed a contract into our Lock-In program for the past heating season ([redacted]). This customer opted for a pre-payment of all anticipated propane gallons, which is based on previous usage history. The plan is...

offered every year and is typical for most energy providers.Based on last winters weather and the customers heating demand there was a credit balance on the account at the end of lock-in program (May *, 2016).Typically any unused credit from a previous year stays on the account and is then used for the next years heating expense. It is not our normal practice to "refund" those monies back to a customer, which is what this customer was requesting. Prior to receiving this notice it had been decided that we will, in this one time instance, refund the credit balance back to the customer. A check request has been made for the full amount. [redacted] was notified of that decision. It is our understanding that this customer has chosen to utilize another propane provider.
