We have no problem providing a refund for the cost of the annual contract that they had previously purchasedWe certainly don't want to attempt to provide service to a customer that doesn't trust or value our services
We are not able to provide them with a blanket replacement agreement
for a new system if it fails in the futureWe have no control over the workmanship of other contractorsThe maintenance that they have done, or luck of, in the futureThere current system has a five year part warranty which will insure them that they will not have to pay for parts should they have any mechanical failures for several years.Thank You

Dear *** ***, I have read your complaint and am very sorry you experienced such non-empathetic serviceI was pleased to hear that our service technician, upon taking your call had placed the priority of your call ahead of othersThis is part of what you paid for when
purchasing an Energy Savings Agreement from our companyHe also was correct in offering you the 50% discount on your repair serviceThis also is provided for in the agreementUnfortunately his customer service efforts then fell short in laughing at your situationThe problem you experienced was not a design flaw, and certainly not a laughing matter. We are willing to refund you the $service feeWe would also like to offer you an additional one year Energy savings agreement at no chargeThis will hopefully give us the opportunity to show you that we are indeed a top service companyPlease simply notify myself how you would like to proceed.Sincerely,*** ***

Crown charged separate service call charges for the same residenceOne for the April air humidifier and one for the furnaceI could appreciate separate charges for repairs, however it should have been only one service call charge to come outCost me an extra $dollarsOther than that, the serviceperson was professional and knowledgeable

Regarding the complaint I will accept the refund that Crown has proposedThank you

The work went smoothly. It took about 50 minutes to complete. However the cost was astronomical. The parts themselves were less than $300. I found this by looking at the prices online. Crown does not break down their prices. I can see why.... This hides the fact that they can charge over $600 per hour for labor. I spoke to the service manager several times regarding this. Before the work was done, he assured me it was because the work was going to take approximately 4 hours. He initially dropped the price as the original quote was over $1,100. He stated that they would do it for the price of someone who has a service contract. And I had already paid them $89 for the initial service call. I agreed to this thinking this job was going to take 4 hours or so to complete. I was surprised when the service rep was done in less than an hour and the price was still $900. I called to discuss again and the manager called his rep and basically told him to take more time and do some normal maintenance on my furnace (which took another 30 minutes), hoping that would pacify me and make me feel like I got more value for my money. So, they did work I didn't ask for to justify charging me this crazy price. I find $600 an hour for labor to be abhorrent and will not have Crown do any further work for me. Although they do good quality work, there is just no way to justify the way they do their billing.
