Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2015/08/18) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @yahoo.com customer brought in a 10k gold ring to trade in on a purchase she was making....I tested the stone in the ring(twice and in front of her) and it did not test as a diamond,I offered her trade on a ring that had already been reduced for her....she could very easily have said that she preferred to pay cash and take the ring back,which I would have preferred since the ring only weighed dwt which translates to about $worth of scrap gold,so I actually felt like I was giving her an overallowance for her trade...she traded the ring and then produced an appraisal months after I scrapped the ring..as I told her in my response to her,I can neither prove or disprove her assertions,since the ring doesnt exist anymore...but I was willing to refund her an additional as an act of goodwill...I arrived at that figure after showing the appraisal to my gold and diamond buyer,I asked him to tell me what he would have paid me in scrap value for an identical ring and he said $350....this customer made a deal of her own free will and now wants to renegotiate months later,using an appraisal that may or may not coincide with the ring that I made very clear to her,I was going to scrap
