I will not mince words, I had an issue with this business in the past but thanks to my recent interaction and honesty with both Mr. [redacted] and [redacted] ***. I am completely satisfied with my most recent purchase. I had been told by Evan after my first encounter that if I returned, he would take care of me and he did just that. They got me into a new car, with lower interest and lower payments. They made this very easy for me to have occur. I would highly recommend Crown Kia of Tyler to anyone who is looking for a great car, great pricing and dealer incentives and great salesman to help you with you purchase. Sometimes bad things happen to good businesses and I believe that this is what happened in the past. Thank you Crown Kia.

I attempted to purchase a vehicle at Crown Motor Company and the experience was horrendous. The vehicle I was interested in, a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, was listed on their website at $16,500. I printed the information as the website instructed in order to receive that price on the vehicle. I told the salesperson what I wanted the monthly payment to be and with my challenged credit, I had calculated that the payment for that vehicle would be very close to my number. When I sat down and worked out the numbers, they congratulated me for being approved and the payments would be $200 more than what I told them. The floor manager (as he was introduced), Travis, was very condescending and very loud in telling me all about how my credit was the issue. I am sure all the other sales people and customers enjoyed that. I had a preapproval with a much lower APR than what they were offering me and they told me they tried to use my preapproval but the interest rate changed. When I called the loan company to find out why, I was told that no one attempted to process my preapproval. I called and talked to my sales person and told him that I found out that no one ran my loan with my preapproval, and that I did not appreciate being lied to. He told me to come back in and they would get it processed. After spending a couple of hours in the dealership, I finally got to go see finance, at which time I was advised the price of the vehicle was now $23K. I told them they could just keep their vehicle. I then went over to Allen Samuels, started a deal with one of their sales people, and on the day after Christmas, I drove off the lot with a vehicle I love, at a payment very close to what I was willing to pay, and I was treated with dignity and respect. I have checked to see if Crown Motor Company has sold the 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and it is still on their lot. Last week the price rose to $17,000 and today it is $19,193. I won't always have challenged credit, and I guarantee you at that time, I will NOT be purchasing from Crown Motor Company.
