Review: My husband and I closed on our house Friday Aug 30, 2013 and had to leave that same day to travel to [redacted], AL. We made the decision to have a cleaning service clean when we returned that following Tuesday Sept 3rd. We have a 5 month old baby and it would have been almost impossible for me to clean the house like I needed to before the movers came with our furniture the next day. The "cleaning team" was scheduled to arrive at 9:00am. A gentleman and young lady arrived 40 minutes late. I did a walk through the house with the gentleman and he assured me that everything would be taken care of "no problem"! We agreed that the bathrooms, kitchen and windows would be cleaned, they would dust, etc. The house had been vacant for about a year and it was not in bad condition by any means. The rate was $75 per hour and he said that 2 hours would be plenty of time! He told the young lady what needed to be cleaned and walked back to his SUV to get some oven cleaner. He came back in, sprayed the oven, made small talk with me, and said that he would be back in 10 minutes. When I saw him again it was 2 and a half hours later. Around 10:45 am the young lady came downstairs to clean the kitchen, I noticed that she was spraying everything with a blue substance that resembled Windex. Because she wasn't using any type of soap or water, I assumed that it was some sort of disinfectant mixture that she was using... It was Windex! My husband came home early from work and we went upstairs to view the progress. To our utter surprise, the bathrooms looked almost the exact same way as they did before the 1 woman "cleaning team" arrived! There were visible smears where she wiped the mirrors, but you could still see a ring around the master bedroom toilet and there was visible dust on the light fixtures in both bathrooms and the window seals of all 3 bedrooms. She packed up her cleaning supplies around 11:45 am and went outside to wait for the gentleman to return. My husband and I went to the kitchen to review the work... there was visible debris still left on top of the oven, and inside the refrigerator. When the gentleman got back we expressed our disappointment in the cleaning service and he said that it would take more time to clean what we needed to have cleaned. My husband asked him "So it cost more money for you all to do a good job" and the gentleman said "yes". We told him that we had an errand to run before the carpet cleaners arrived and the gentleman said, "She can come in and at least clean the light fixtures and stove, It want take long at all" That was our point exactly... It didn't take long to do what should have been done in the first place. As he was taking our $150 payment he told the young lady to at least wipe the outside of the stove. It looked like she hadn't even touched the inside! We have a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath condo that required minimal cleaning and it was not done by this company. I have had plenty experience with different cleaning companies, but this by far was the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: To have at least half of the total amount refunded. We were told that a "team" would be rendering the service and there was only 1 person that actually cleaned and did not do a good job at all!
