In response to a complaint filed on July 5, 2017Mr [redacted] received a computer generated "Notification Letter" stating that a car he had previously owned was in our custody and needed to be picked upThe charges were included in the letter, so that the owner of the vehicle would know the amount that was due when they came to pick up the carSometimes the software that we use will send letters to previous ownersIt is likely that [redacted] will also be sending him a notificationWe do not have control over thisWe tried to explain this to him and asked that he just throw away the letter if he was not the current ownerHe is also concerned that this will be a blemish on his creditWe explained that it was not a "bill" and that he did not owe us any thing, as long as he wasn't the owner of the carWe were not attempting to collect a debtIt was simply a computer generated NOTIFICATIONMr [redacted] is requesting that we remove his name from the list of previous owners of this car and we are not capable of doing thatWe suggested that he contact his local DMV in [redacted]

We do not have control over this. We tried to explain this to him and asked that he just throw away the letter if he was not the current owner.
