One of the installed gutters does not have a drain pour so rain water simply collects in the gutter instead of draining.
The installation was done incorrectly for one of the sections, which is completely missing a drain pour. So rain water collects in the gutter and stays in the gutter--because there is no where for it to go. We have contacted the company 3 times regarding our complaint, and they have assured us they would send someone to take a look at the problem, but they have not done so. I had to puncture holes in the gutter to get it to drain because mosquitoes were hatching from the collected water in the gutter. It is unacceptable to install a gutter without anywhere for the water to drain, but that's what they did, and they haven't take responsibility for the botched job.
1) Replace the gutter that I had to puncture holes in for drainage. 2) Add the proper drainage pipe that actually connects to the gutter.
Good morning, We do not have any Customer by the name of Champion in our files.This must be another gutter company.
Before the install had begun the customer was informed that a down spout was needed for water to exit the gutters. Our Crew was advised that the customer did not want the Down spout do to the area in which it would have been placed. after the install was completed the gutters collected water do to heavy rain and with out a down spout attached there would be no where for the water to exit. The Customer proceeded to drill holes into the gutter to drain the water (which voided the warranty) before informing us of the situation and allowing us the time to come out and add a down spout as was needed at the beginning of the install and allowing us to resolve the issue at hand. We did have a crew come out and fill the holes back in the gutters and add the down spout for free. Do to the customer drilling his own holes in the gutters voiding the warranty we normally wouldn't have filled in the holes that the customer took upon himself to make in the gutters at all as well as putting the down spout on free of charge but because we do care for our customers and like to make things right we took it upon ourselves to do so.
