Ok so I am an OCD freakI mean I need to have everything in orderSo when choosing a moving company I was a tad bit a wreckI saw some terrible reviews online for most but Crown Van Lines has a stellar track recordI choose them and the move went smooth as can beI was impressed by how well they labled and packed all my itemsThey worked very carefully and evry single piece was itemized and tagged On delievry they worked very well together as a team and set up my house beautifully so all I had left to do was open some boxes upGreat Job Crown Van Lines

They not only did a great job packing and moving us but they also provided storage for a month tooGreat job and pleasant staff to work with

I was sad to have to move out Of Dallas but I needed to do it for a better career opportunity. My employer set up the move for me and I must say I was thrilled in their selection of Movers. Crown Van Lines was a very professional moving service and the crew led by [redacted] was very detailed oriented and careful with my goods. I was really careful about what mover I choose. I looked at things like reviews, time in business and pricing and Crown Van Lines was the choice for me and it turned out to be the right one the move went as good as I could have hoped price within my budget helpful [redacted] and [redacted] was outstanding in their professional as well thank you crown van lines for caring about your clients I realy appreciate the effort you showed!

I chose Crown Van Lines because I read the positive reviews on this site and didn't see any negative reviews. We were' moving my boyfriends' furniture from Orlando to San Diego. My experience with Crown Van Lines once past the sales portion, was awful. The sales guy assured me they seldom have any breakage of anything and therefore told me extra insurance wasn't necessary. When the movers arrived we were told there would be additional $210 for stairs even though $70 was already added for the extra stairs. We were also told the cost would be $2300 more than we were quoted. We did have additional items, but this was 150% increase in the quote. We negotiated with the person in charge but still paid double what we expected and had to pay cash for the stairs. We weren't prepared for the fact that items might get left off their inventory list. We lost items with no recourse since the company argued that they weren't on inventory. When the truck arrived, there was a single driver and no one to help. He claimed his guys took off the night before. One of our prized pieces was a large framed mirror. Though Crown packed it, it was broken in shipping. The value of that mirror was about $400. We recieved a settlement of $25.20. Even though I documented the terrible circumstances of the deliveryhaving to pay a neighbor to help our driver, there was no remuneration for that at all. I filed a claim with the company within a few days of the delivery. Almost 4 months later, after no word and no reply to various emails to the claims department, I reached someone by phone who stated my claim was never received. I resent everything spending additional money for photos and special mailing. A couple weeks later I received a settlement letter with the ORIGINAL claim. Meaning they lied about not receiving it. I was insulted that the settlement was less than what I spent on filing and mailing the claim.
