Review: Monday at 4:15 I bought a pair of clip-in extensions. I opened the package on Tuesday (6/11/13) morning and the stiching was coming undone. I put them back in the plastic, went to work. I got off work and went straight to Crown Wigs. The owner/manager told me because I opened them I can't swap them even though the product was defective. He refused to help me and proceeded to ask me to leave his store. I'm now stuck with a defective product and out $140 approx.Desired Settlement: I just want another pair that is usable.

According to our store policy, we accept returns if the package is in original condition. If the package is opened, we cannot accept returns for sanitary reasons, especially with any hair extension products (there would be no way to know if the product was tried on). This is clearly stated at our registers. Still, we understand that from time to time defects occur, and as such, we do definitely make exceptions and allow returns or exchanges (even though this means it would be at a cost to the store).

Unfortunately, in this particular case, we could not see the defect that the customer was claiming. It was especially difficult as the product was brought back extensively disheveled. This customer was asked to leave because she would not cease to yell and use profanity. Not only did her manner and profane speech upset and disrespect our sales associates and our customers, we also felt that we could not discuss the matter further or come to a resolution, when the customer used such language and refused to stop.

We have also since reviewed our store security camera recordings and could not verify that this customer came to the store to purchase on Monday, June 10th at 4:15PM.
