Review: My mother came in to buy a wig on a Tuesday. It didn't fit correctly so the sales lady set up an appointment for that following Friday with [redacted] to get it altered. When Friday came [redacted] was 20mins late. And [redacted] said "what do you need? I don't have much time." My.mother replied "well I would like to get my wig altered so it fits correctly." [redacted] didn't seem to care about my mother nor did she alter the wig. [redacted] was rude and very disrespectful. She took my mom's wig and shoved it in her face then ran her hand through my mom's hair and pulled.out her hair. My mom asked her could you please not do that I'm losing my hair fast enough. [redacted] replied with "Ya, that happens when people have cancer and is going through chemotherapy." My mom then proceeded to ask for her money back for the wig because of the lack of respect and neither associate would honer her request. [redacted] made my mom feel very bad a and sad inside. She is going through a hard enough time and doesn't need to be treated the way she was treated by [redacted] and her assistant. They are very inconsiderate and cold hearted individuals. We will let everyone know not to give them their business.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund on the.wig, an written apology, and for everyone to know that they do not conduct good business practices.

Review: My name is [redacted] on Dec 16 2014 I went into Crowing Glory Salon to get a wig, because I’m going through chemotherapy. The sales lady was nice, and helped me pick a wig that looked “ok” on me. She told me that the wig could be altered because it was too big for my head. I made an appointment with [redacted] the owner, to have the wig altered so that it would fit properly. My daughter [redacted] and I returned to Crowing Glory Salon on Friday Dec 19 2014 at noon for our scheduled appointment. We were shown to one of the rooms and were told that [redacted] would be with us shortly. She was with another client. We waited for over a ½ hour past my appointment time before [redacted] came in to see me. When [redacted] final came into my room she came in with an attitude and said “I’m with another client and don’t have much time what do you need?” I proceeded to explain that the wig was not fitting properly and that I was told that I could have her remove some of the paneling to make it fit right. [redacted] told me that once I’m bold the wig would fit right. That the reason why the wig wasn’t fitting correctly was because my real hair was moving, so the wig would keep moving. I tried to explain that the wig was too big and could pull it over my ears, and that when I lost all my hair the wig would be bigger still. [redacted] rips my wig off my head, and tossed the wig in my lap. She proceeded to run her hands through my hair and pulls out my hair. I told her “hey stop pulling my hair out its falling out fast enough as it is” do to my chemotherapy. She said “well that happens.” I said “so you don’t need to pull it out.” After that she and I started talking about my wig and I’m trying to get her to understand that no matter what with or without my real hair the wig was too big and doesn’t fit either way. [redacted] showed me how to put the wig on (which I already knew how). I told her that the wig keeps creeping up and that I have to keep pulling it down. [redacted] said “that was what wigs do, that why you see people that wear wigs pull the down.” I know for a fact that, that is not true. People get wigs that you can’t even tell are a wig. [redacted] told me that a wig wasn’t just going to flip over the front of my face like a toupee. While she was saying this she proceeded to hold the front of my wig to my forehead and smack the back of the wig so that the wig flips over the back of my head and the wig smacks me in the face. By this point my daughter and I are getting very mad/ upset. She tells me that the wig was hand tied so she couldn’t adjust it and that I had to basically deal with it. But through my daughters research it says that hand tied wigs are better quality of wig and that there could be repairs and fitted to the scalp it just take a little more time and effort. I told [redacted] that this is not what I was promised when I purchased the wig and if they could not alter or adjust it, as I was promised, that I wanted my money back. I asked [redacted] if I could return the wig and get a refund since there’s nothing she could do to fix my wig. [redacted] very coldly said “NO!!!” and walked out. On my way out I saw that there were no posting saying all sales final. No refunds or exchanges. At this time the only solution I want is my money refunded and for [redacted] to take her wig back. The above statement is true my daughter [redacted] was present and a witness to the events that happened.
