I hired Croziers Heating 07 Dec17, to install ductwork into a house I had recently purchased. I gave him a thousand dollars deposit and then paid it in full before realizing the work was not completed as per my contract. I texted him and asked him why I had less heat after the duct work was done then before and when he was going to finish installing the ductwork upstairs as per our signed contract, he told me to not to contact him any more. I had my *** contact him, with neg results. it seems he is ignoring their requests for refund of my money, which is 3373.61. I paid it in full trusting them to finish the job. He told me I had misunderstood the contract and he was not going to put heat upstairs unless I paid more, and I had a signed contract stating heat was to be put upstairs. I contacted 5 other companies, they all told me the same thing that they had done a *** job, had used smaller pipes should have used 6 in throughout and used 4 in. one of the sections 3 ft long fell off less than 2 wks after it was installed it was duct taped not screwed as they told me. I had to repair it myself they refused to warranty work just done. *** told me to contact their insurance company for reimbursement over 2 months ago, I left 4 msg's no response. It cost me another 2500.00 to have another company come in and took out all of the work Croziers did and redo it properly as it was not done properly. I am asking for my out of pocket expenses which is 6325.00 plus costs. They refused to reimburse me or acknowledge *** request or honor their warranty work or contract which I signed and paid for before realizing it was not done as stated. When they left that Friday *** told me all of the work had been done upstairs and it was late and I did not check it out until 5 hrs later when I went upstairs it was not done.

Attention: Dispute Resolution Department

Please be advised that we are the insurers for ***.
He has advised us of the complaint from *** and we are in the process of investigating to determine if his insurance coverage will respond to her loss.
A meeting did take place today with ***, in an attempt to gather the needed information from her. The meeting took place off site, not at her home, as per her request. She did not bring all of the documentation with her, namely the invoices for the work that she is claiming was required, but has advised that she will forward this to us. It was stressed to her that we would require this information at her earliest possible convenience.
During our meeting she did express her displeasure with Crozier Heating and that she was telling everyone about the poor service she received, that she knew a lot of people, and had a lawyer on retainer to sue them.
At this time we do need her to provide us with all of her documentation before we can advise on coverage.
We ask that the June 4th 2018 time line for responding be extended in order to obtain this information.
