I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint

I'm just simply over this I do not have the time or energy to play these games This man is a liar and I wish to no longer have any dealings with him
Regards,

The customer was notified that another customer had accidentally tapped their bumper while leaving the parking lotHis comment was that he did not believe it was an issueLater he returned to say it wasI offered to have it taken care of as a courtesy knowing that the bumper already had other
damage and at best there were only minor scratchesThe customer declined and escalated the issue wanting much more- which I declined!

Customer brought their *** *** in for repair on Thursday, July She had previously been here for previous repairOn May 29, At that time we informed her that there appeared to be other issues with her vehicle- probably due to either lack of maintenance or extreme
driving issues. The new job involved replacing the lower Intake gasketShe had it either diagnosed by at least other shop or self diagnosedWe informed her that we did not have a smoke machine to confirm the diagnosis, but that we would do the work she requested and that it may not fix the problem of the Tahoe running sluggishlyThe vehicle was delivered to her on Friday, July around 5pm. Now, let me speak to the customers complaint she has filedIt is filled with inaccuracies, mis truths and just made up information. We did not forget to install the drain plugWe did as part of the repair, change the oil as is procedureThe oil level was full at time of pick up and drain plug was tight and tamper seal appliedShe states to oil plug caused to new gaskets to be sucked up into the motorSuch a made up comment!!Stating my mechanic "admitted fault"This too is a mis truthWhen the vehicle was brought back by tow, we re looked at the issue and could not readily determine the issueI told her at that time that we would try to figure out the issue but would not be able to look at it till Monday morning due to my mechanic being off on SaturdayI (Vic L*** the Owner- spoke to her) Due to this and her comments that she needed a car or ride, I did rent her a vehicle to accommodate her with work issues till we could determine the source of the new problemOn Monday, July we re looked at the Tahoe and found it to be running very roughNot knowing what had been done by her driving it , etc, I decided to ask for a second opinion from another mechanic shopIt was taken to them on Monday afternoonOn the reimbursing of the tow of $The customer came to me demanding reimbursing of the tow which I said "No" due to my contention that the Tahoe had other issuesI finally agreed to help because she said her mother in law paid for the tow with her Check Card and now could not pay her electric billTherefore I agreed to help knowing it was lost money on my part. On taking it to another shopI did take it to another shop for a second opinionI spoke to the owner about the situation and asked for them to give me their opinionThey did the next day to find out, they had also bid on her repair and told her also that the lower intake was indeed leaking but that there were probably more issuesThere bid was $higher than mine, hence I got to deal with this repair not knowing their opinion or the history of issues I then found out from the second shopConcerning statement from the tech at *** ***The customer works at this *** and I know therir Lube Shop employees and management very wellMy only comment to this is "Why would you do an oil change prior to repair you were looking to do days before, unless you had another agenda?" "And why at that time would you ask about metal shavings in the oil?" There is no way they would remember whether there were metal shavings in the oil at time of oil change unless "you either asked" or just wanted to be silent about it! Either way, we would make a comment on the invoice at the time about such a problem and I doubt this asked for by the customer at *** ***- hence another mis truth or made up story!Overall, I have no intention of paying this customer anythingShe is dishonest and in my opinion looking for a free rideI am out $for a rent car and $for the tow and am considering filing this due to dishonesty and lack of integrity

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]No progress was offered in the response and almost everything in the response was false.1. I was informed by an employee that the employee himself had backed my vehicle into another customer's vehicle. The response states that I was informed that another customer hit my vehicle. I assume at this point this is an intentional lie with the hope of displacing liability. We are 2 months into this situation and in the few conversations we've had, there was never a denial that it was the business employee who backed my vehicle into someone else's vehicle. Let's pretend for a minute that the business owner is telling the truth: please provide the contact information for the other customer as my insurance company would like to speaker with them. 2. I didn't exactly say that the damage was not an issue. What I said was that it was my wife's vehicle and I would I have to check with her to see if it was an issue.3. There was not previous damage on the bumper. The only previous damage to the vehicle is a relatively long scratch on the side of the car.4. The severity of the inflicted damage is subjective. Just to state fact, the damage is at least 22 marks on the back bumper, some of which removed enough paint to see the bumper under the paint. All I want is the business insurance information so that I can get my car fixed at a reputable shop of my choosing, just as would be expected in any other car accident. I'm not clear on why the business owner feels that he is not obligated to provide his insurance information to me.
