We booked a Carnival Cruise for July 5th through Vacation Outlet in October, through a TA named [redacted] We were booked through the Carnival Early Saver, as we made our reservation so far ahead, we are entitled to price drops - per Carnival In years past, we have taken advantage of this and have received On Board Credits(OBC) due to the price going down When we booked our cruise, Vacation Outlet was the exact same price as if we had booked through Carnival, however, they were extending a $OBC to us, which made it seem worthwhile About weeks ago, we made our final payment for our cruise My husband noticed, just this morning, that the price of our curise dropped $ He contacted the TA to let her know She filled out the appropriate form with Carnival, and let me husband know that they would be updating our invoice - they are adjusting THEIR COMMISSION In fact, increasing their commission!!! We are not getting any type of refund We are not receiving additional OBC's in the amount that our price dropped Their logic is they already offered us the $OBC upfront, we are not entitled to the price drops They are keeping our $that we deserve for booking through Early Saver My husband spoke to a Manager and she held firm, that this is their policy We have other families cruising with us They all booked after us, with Cruise Vacation Outlet, because we referred them to [redacted] They didn't even offer us anything for the additional bookings - I guess they do not appreciate referrals I would not recommend Cruise Vacation Outlet out of Orlando, FL to ANYONE! We will never send business their way again Very unprofessional

I will never deal with this organization againI booked a cruise in July for Jan In Sep of I asked if my costs included insurance and was told yes and that payment was done after the cruise had been paid for as part of my last paymentI paid off the cruise in July or That in itself was a nightmare process as I had asked the cruise representative to take payments every month of $until I had paid all of my costsShe would forget then when I reminded her take a double paymentOn occasion the payment taken wasn't even for the amount I requestedNeedless to say I wasn't impressedBut I persevered and made the payments and was told that I was paid in full in July Recently an emergency surgery for my mother-in-law may prevent one of us cruisingWhen I contacted for my insurance information I was told I didn't have insuranceI was told this was because I hadn't specifically asked for it after making my final payment in July This despite the fact that the insurance quote was in all correspondence prior t July as part of my costsWhen I was told I was paid in full I thought that included insurance I was told no, everything was my fault, they couldn't have been clearer on the insurance costsThey would be happy to see me insurance now but the surgery on my mother-in-law would be excludedI believe these people are liars whose goal is to maximize sales and their profits with no regards for the customer I talked to the cruise line who said if necessary I could transfer the cost to another person at no cost if I did it NLT than days to the cruise departureI would however have to do that through the cruise seller not direct with them I was told to do it in a conference call with the cruise seller and the cruise line as that would help me keep costs low that the cruise seller may want to impose for the change(There are no airline tickets involved in this transaction)

I had booked a cruise through this company based on fares sent to me on cruise competeI called and confirmed quote immediately and was told fare was goodBy the way it was only $lower than the next lowest companyI never received the common courtesy of a email confirmationI had to call the next day and was told it would be $more only because my agent went to bat for me with a manager or it would have been higher! This bait and switch might work with some people but not meThere are hundreds of cruise travel agents that might actually value their clientsI would steer clear of this one as I have now read that I am not the only person they have done this to

I talked to the cruise line who said if necessary I could transfer the cost to another person at no cost if I did it NLT than 3 days to the cruise departure. I would however have to do that through the cruise seller not direct with them I was told to do it in a conference call with the cruise seller and the cruise line as that would help me keep costs low that the cruise seller may want to impose for the change. (There are no airline tickets involved in this transaction)

About 2 weeks ago, we made our final payment for our cruise. My husband noticed, just this morning, that the price of our curise dropped $130.00. He contacted the TA to let her know. She filled out the appropriate form with Carnival, and let me husband know that they would be updating our invoice - they are adjusting THEIR COMMISSION. In fact, increasing their commission!!! We are not getting any type of refund. We are not receiving additional OBC's in the amount that our price dropped. Their logic is they already offered us the $300 OBC upfront, we are not entitled to the price drops. They are keeping our $130 that we deserve for booking through Early Saver.
