On AUG 29, 2017 I have booked through CRUISEOSITY Cruise Agent (with deposit), a cruise vacation with Royal Caribbean for AUG 16, 2018 cruise. For this booking, I have received on AUG 30 2017 from the Royal Caribbean International, a booking confirmation document. On AUG 31 2017 I have asked CRUISEOSITY via email whether I could change my reservation without any penalties and book the same stateroom for the AUG 2, 2018 cruise. On SEP 8 2017, the Agency's Sales Manager, replied to my request that being for a different sail date if he was to change me to that sail date there would be a penalty of Dollars per person and then any price difference that might be on the room for the new date and If there were any questions or concerns to let him know. To this date, I confirm that I have NEVER replied to the Sale Manager's email or confirmed any date change or accepted any penalty charges! Found out 5 months later (early January 2018) that CRUISEOSITY acting on its own and without any specific instructions by me the customer has indeed changed my cruise date to AUG 2 2018 without my prior notification, approval, penalty charge acceptance or confirmation! In addition to this, NOBODY had ever notified me of any sail date change to my current cruise booking either by any CRUISEOSITY representative or by any Royal Caribbean Cruise Line representative via a phone, e-mail or any other form of communication and neither have I received any other booking confirmation document other than the one I initially received from Royal Caribbean for my AUG 16, 2018 cruise! Since January I have many times conducted CRUISEOSITY in order to accept their mistake and correct my cruise reservation to AUG 16 2018 according to my one and only (initial) booking confirmation received by Royal Caribbean. The CRUISEOSITY Agency via its owner replied that there is nothing they are able to do! I have then DEMANDED A FULL REFUND OF MY DEPOSIT MONEY! Ever since I have not received any refund money!

The Cient has been informed of options we have tried to help the client Even though they have been very rudd per email and on the phone.

First and formose when the client booked the cruise she understood that she was booking on a travel agents Co branded website as you have to click on a disclaimer even before you enter the website expressing this .

cruiseosity does not hold clients money all monies are directly paid to the cruise lines and they are sent a confimation and they even stipulate the terms and conditions onnthe website and in the confimations

I even metioned to them in the last email that space on the cruise they where looking came available and they said they already booked another date Honestly I dont know if the client really know when they want to travel. I Did also ask them if they wanted me to try and transfer the funds to the cruise they booked directly with the cruise line and I had no responce

They full well know they booked under the non refundable .

These emails that have been sent to me and the phone calls have got to the point of being abussive .

it has got to the point with this lady to were I even expressed how she can requet the booking being direct with the cruise line and take it up with them as my hands are tied as they are the ones holding her money .

CRUISEOSITY (the Agency) is not admitting the fact that has changed the dates of my cruise reservation and has charged me extra money without my prior notification, approval, acceptance or confirmation! Its impressive how this Agency is dodging responsibility and is blaming the customer!

This Agency is constantly referring to my initial request on AUG 31 2017 where I have asked via email whether I could change my reservation without any penalties and book the same stateroom for the AUG 2 2018. But, this Agency is DELIBERATELY avoiding/omitting/ forgetting the fact that its Sales Manager on SEP 8 2017 had indeed answered/ replied to my request with the exact quote:" Being that it is for a different sail date if I was to change you to that sail date there would be a penalty of a Hundred Dollars per person and then any price difference that might be on the room for the new date. If there are any questions or concerns please let me know".

Again to this date, I confirm that I have NEVER replied to this Sales Manager's email or confirmed any date change or accepted any penalty charges! So, here are the questions I'd like this Agency to answer: 1. Why did the Agency change my cruise reservation dates without my prior acceptance/ confirmation? 2. Why did the Agency charge me extra money (Eight Hundred Dollars!!!) without my prior acceptance/ approval? 3. Why NOBODY had ever notified me of this change (via e-mail , phone call or any other form of communication) and I had found it out myself by chance (early January 2018)? 4. Why haven't I received any other booking confirmation document except the one I initially received from Royal Caribbean for my AUG 16, 2018 cruise? 5. Does this Agency have any internal controls in place?

In conclusion, I have originally booked /purchased a certain cruise vacation at a certain date and for a certain amount of money and this Agency has unorthodoxly changed it and charged me extra money without my consent! Basically this Agency failed to honor my initial cruise reservation! This is NOT my fault so, I want my money back!

I have non control of the deposit as it is held with royal caribbean and they have looked at all the corisponance and everything was explained in the last email and was also verbally explained to jhoann at the Revdex.com

I have noticed that this Agency again is avoiding answering my questions! Whether the money is held by the cruise line, is not my concern. All I know is that this Agency has made a change to my reservation without my consent and NOBODY is taking responsibility! This is NOT my (the customer's) fault! This Agency has made a clear mistake and they have to compensate for it!
Royal Caribbean (the cruise line) has explained to me that (their quote): "Due to contractual agreements, Royal Caribbean International cannot release or amend any information on a reservation with anyone other than the travel agent of record. The travel agency you booked your cruise with, Cruiseosity, is the owner of your reservation. Your assigned travel agent with Cruiseosity is not a Royal Caribbean International representative". Basically, they have told me that they have no responsibility over my reservation and that the Agency has!
Now, each of them (Royal Caribbean International and CRUISEOSITY) is blaming the other. This is not my concern and they should sort it out between themselves. I'm the customer, I'm stack in the middle, my money is taken and I'm going back and forth! Whoever is responsible has to pay my money back! I held CRUISEOSITY responsible for my reservation messed-up so, I demand my money back from them!
