We too were disappointed that we were not able to fill this customer's order in the product desiredThe customer contacted us via our LiveChat link on our webpage which opens an instant message type window to be able to talk to our customer service repsThe CSR rep that responded is relatively new
to our company and isn't quite fully trained on all product lines and would not know the specific reasons the product he wanted was not listed as unavailable on the websiteHer CSR Supervisor was off that day and more senior CSRs were busy on other calls or chats so there was no one else in the Customer Service area available for her to transfer the chat toThe customer ended the chat conversation before the CSR could say that she was attempting to reach the managerLater I reviewed the chat transcript when the CSR herself brought it to my attention as she wanted guidance on how she could have handled the chat differently to better serve the customerThe chat transcript was brief lasting only a few short minutes and the CSR made every effort to answer the customer questions and offered other product suggestionsThe product is currently unavailable due to a reconfiguration being needed on the machine that produces the design backgroundsWe do not generally request that our website development and maintenance team remove products from the website that are temporarily unavailable but instead as the CSR did in this case, we advise the customer and offer alternative colorsWe are trying to get the equipment up and running again but that requires technical support that is not readily available and is taking longer than we anticipatedWe would like to offer the customer an order of checks in any of the other available colors at 50% off (excluding shipping costs) since the preferred design is not availableRegards, Marilyn FGeneral Manager ASAP Checks, Forms & Supplies

THIS IS A CASE OF PATHETIC TRAININGIF YOUR STAFF DOES NOT KNOW THE ANSWERS THEN YOU HAVE POORLY TRAINED THEMIN SUMMARY THE BUSINESS'S ANSWER WAS WEAK AND PATHETIC EXCUSES AND A CLEAR SIGN OF POOR MANAGEMENT AND VERY WEAK LEADERSHIP AND TRAININGBASED ON THIS RESPONSE I WOULD NOT WANT TO WORK AT THIS COMPANYDON'T PUT IT ON THE MENU IF YOU DO NOT SERVE THE PRODUCTAS TO THE DISCOUNTI ORDERED THE SAME CHECK FROM *** FOR UNDER $SHIPPING INCLUDEDI HAVE SENT ALL MY CLIENTS TO ASAP IN THE PASTNOT ANY MOREASK THE GENERAL MANAGER IF HE WOULD ACCEPT THE TRAINING AND SITUATION FOR HIS OWN DAUGHTER OR SON IF THEY WORKED FOR A COMPANY THAT ANSWERED LIKE HE DIDMY GUESS IS HE WOULD TELL THEM TO FIND ANOTHER JOB AND FASTWOW I AM ASTOUNDED IN THAT POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES STILL EXISTLACK OF TRAINING, LACK OF SUPPORT AND NOT AN OUNCE OF CARE TO PROTECT THE COMPANY
