The husband and wife neglected to mention that I paid for their Ecourse that they completed prior to the classroom ($value)In addition, they attended the classroom session March 19th and the gentleman and his wife admitted to having a great time and they learned a lotThe atmosphere in the classroom was very positive and was a great successI personally taught the classroom sessionHowever, there is one thing that I remember about the husband and wife team during introductionsThe gentleman mentioned that he wanted his wife to learn how to ride a motorcycle and she mentioned that she was there because her husband wanted her to learn to rideIt was clear that she was not there because she had the desire to learn how to drive a motorcycle for herself. The gentleman mentioned that the bike was to big for his wifeThe motorcycle that was provided for her was a 250cc motorcycleThis small cruiser styled bike is low to the ground and is one of the smallest training bikes available on the marketThis Suzuki GZ is used by a large percentage of the sponsors in the State of Wisconsin because of it's simplicity to drive and it's light weight aspectsHarley Davidson classes use the 500cc motorcycles. The gentleman also mentioned that the tires were too bald to ride, the fumes of the motorcycles were too much for him and the brakes lock up by themselvesI am a Quality Assurance Specialist for the State of Wisconsin and have been a Professional Motorcycle Instructor for years, We oversee other organizations like ourselves, to make sure all bikes, equipment and Rider Coaches meet standardsThere is a set of guidelines for everything in this curriculumOur motorcycles are always maintained to meet and exceed acceptable standards of the programThis class that the gentleman is referring to was one of the first classes of this year and before the motorcycles were put into storage last year they were all maintained and all tires were replaced that needed itWhen I removed them from storage the tire pressure was all adjusted, old gas drained out and new gas in, in addition to a final checkWe were recently surprised inspected by a Quality Assurance Specialist and the feedback was great as were all previous inspectionsThis inspector is also a State Trooper for the State of WisconsinThe fumes of a motorcycle are not affected by a choke***, the Rider Coach for that class, mentioned the gentleman wouldn't turn off his choke because he wouldn't follow directionsThe exhaust fumes are like any other motorcycle and because he didn't turn the choke off sometimes, has no affect on him breathing fumesThe gentleman is obviously looking for anything he can possibly think of to make us look badHe has never ridden a motorcycle before and claims to know the mechanical aspects of a motorcycle by the comments that he has listedIn addition, he mentioned the brakes just " locking up"The brakes will lock up if the individual that is riding it applies improper brake application by grabbing the front or stomping the rear brakeAgain, all brake pads and components are satisfactory and even worn brakes do not lock up on there ownThis comment made by the gentleman again shows his lack of mechanical knowledgeA tire tread gauge and its measurements would be more believableThat is what we use to inspect tire tread. The gentleman mentioned the instructor push starting a bike the next day to start itBatteries do not last forever, and when they expire, they do without warning sometimesThat battery was replaced immediately following that classThat is all that can be doneThat does not make a motorcycle dangerousAgain, that statement shows lack of mechanical knowledge and he is just badgering usIn addition, he mentions a throttle being touchyThe operator of a motorcycle must use smooth hand movements to obtain smooth take offs and maneuverabilityThe gentleman was a new rider that needed to develop his skills of smooth movements of the controlsAny bike would be jumpy without smoothness of the handThis gentleman barely passed his skill test and I was informed by [redacted] that he really needed to work on all skills to become a good riderHowever, that is normal, some people need additional time to work on basic skillsThis curriculum is based on time to meet minimal objectives on each exercise and does not guarantee that all riders will succeed perfectly at each skillThis is explained in our Rider Coach guideI also have it listed on the agreement at the time of registration, in the classroom and on the range.I would like to add, [redacted] mentioned to me that the gentleman was taking "selfies" or pictures of himself, smiling on the motorcycleHowever, that happened while Rider Coach [redacted] was reading the range cards to the students that describes path of travel, riding techniques and objectives [redacted] also mentioned that this particular person wasn't listening to the instructions and was a distraction to his wife and others This State of Wisconsin motorcycle training course is not guaranteeing that all participants pass or even are able to fully complete the courseThat would be advertisementAll providers have many participants fail their skill evaluations as well as being excused because of lack of safety for themselves and others around themThese are rules from the State and the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation).***, explained that the pavement was wet but posed no dangerThere was no snow piled on the groundThe constant lies from this gentleman are difficult to reply to, he is being utterly ridiculousPlease come out and inspect the bikes for yourselves if you do not agree with the Quality Assurance Program that is in place for this programThis fellow paid for and successfully completed the entire programHis wife paid for and completed the entire course, however, she did not pass the skills test as a lot do notTHIS COURSE IS NO GUARENTEE OF SAFETY AND THE TEST IS NOT A GUARANTEED PASS, THAT IS UP TO THE RIDERThis is made clear throughout the course as well as before itIt is up to the individualWe do not refund money because somebody doesn't passWe would all go out of business if that were the caseDoes the Department of Motor Vehicles guarantee a pass on automobile testing? The Rider Coach also explained to the lady that she needed to work on certain skills in order to pass the testThat is our job, to give feedback for the student to better their skillsThis gentleman also sees himself as a professional Rider Coach when he says that her skills were great and she is doing fine, when she was notThat is why we are there is to instruct and give tips for better riding [redacted] would give feedback as a Rider Coach must and the fellow took offense to his wife being told what skills needed to improve in order to pass the test and be a safe rider on the roadWe do not tell students that everything is great and the skills are there when they are notStudents need positive feedback and [redacted] would praise her for a increased skill and a tip for something that needed workNow this statement he made really tops it off, quote " However, he did fail my wife but gave me my certification, which I do not believe I deserved."Rider Coaches do not fail peopleThe person that fails the skills evaluation is the one who failed the testWe write down the scores accurately, that's it! We do not ride the bikes for the studentsJust as DMV testers do not drive the car for the students.I encourage anyone and everyone to come and visit our organization99% of our clients are completely satisfiedHowever, there are always a few people that can not self reflect and realize that they may need to work on certain skills to better their riding, rather they blame things on everyone and everything around themThat's a shame.sincerely, [redacted] Cruisin Safely [redacted] This is my correct mailing address, [redacted] ***

The equipment worked against my wife and I during the trainingI own a bike now and what I had in the class was certainly differentMy bike shifts nicely and does not smell like fumes that want to make me pass out***, states that his equipment meets D.O.T regulations, which may be shy of a good operating vehicle. *** (the owner) addressed the fact that he provided my wife and I with gift certificates to local venders, which some were unusableHe failed to inform you of the fact that the gift certificates were only good if you passed the class and some of the sponsors of the gift certificates did not want to honor them*** leaving out little bits and pieces of information should tell future customers what they are up againstIf him and his staff chooses the winners and losers in their class regardless of your testing results, that’s the issue at hand and not his gift certificatesMy wife was informed that she was not going to pass the class even before the testing beganHow is that possible? That’s the reason of my complaint is certainly not your gift certificates that venders gave you for free and the bikes you call motorcycles

It is certainly obviously that the concerns of the paying customer are not excepted at Cruisin Safely Riding CourseI am not writing to provide facts about Cruisin Safely Riding Course but to express to the public my disservice with the organization and that the public would reconsider using this organization for your trainingHarley Davidson is building a new facility in Appleton, WIand Fox Valley Tech offer a much better program with quality and working equipment *** (the owner) stated that my wife did not want her licenseHowever, my wife did not sign up for a $course to sit to watch me rideMy wife did not sit through hours of training to watch meMy wife did not climb on a poorly operating motor cycle that worked against her during her training to watch me trainSuch accusations sound a little ridiculous, would you say? *** (the instructor) claimed that I did not turn off the choke, which caused the fumes on the bikeIf that was the case, as a certified instructor, is it not his job to instruct me, although there were two other experienced riders who expressed their concerns for the fumesThe three drivers must have made the same mistake! How about when *** (the instructor) operated the cycle during a test run experienced the same problems and brought it to my attention that he noticed it as wellMaybe he too should be trained how to turn the choke offThe fact remains that many of the bikes had mechanical problems You mentioned several times that I am a beginning rider and that I am ignorant of the equipmentHowever, I fail to mention to you I have a mechanical background and I know the difference when a machine is not operating as it shouldYou really do not have to be an experienced operator of a bike to tell if it is running lean or rich during the training or if the brakes are grabbing or notIf you are advising such a thing that would be another reason why your school was not for me and my wife or any other inexperienced driver *** it is funny you stated that you went through the bikes before the training but I did not see you out there in the cold temperatures we were experiencing that day not onceThe day after a severe snow stormHowever, I did see teenage young men unloading and setting up the bikes, oh and jump starting them as wellYou also stated that you went through over bikes before the class personallyMy wife and I arrived to the training about 30-minutes early and all the bikes was still locked in the storage units where they had to be backed out individually and did I mention jump startedIt would have taken you the duration of the class to go through all plus bikesTherefore, your statement is not accurate from where we stood. Lastly, *** (the owner) claimed that *** stated that I was doing selfies during the instruction period, which is far from the truth but I understand because I express my disappointment in the service my wife and I paid for you have to try to discredit me and try to make me look like a knuckle head, which is fineHowever, I do know what my experience was like and how all but one women went home with a failing grade, which seemed a little unfair or discriminating to my wife and I

We followed the rules and the state laws and policy and procedures, the conditions where safe to drive and all of our bikes are inspected by the state and meet all standards. One of the state MSF rules advertises that this is not a guarantee pass. Both of these consumer completed the complete course in addition they received a $150 gift certificate each.
