I stopped using this gym in At the time I assumed I would get back to using this gym, as it in itself was not a bad gym My personal situation changed, and I ended up never returning In early 2016, I got a new job in another state and had to move in a short time period All of my attempts to reach out and cancel the gym membership have been denied, and the charges continued to be filed Up until mid I continued to pay the charges in good faith, while I continued to end the membership I finally gave up, and refuse to continue to pay for a service I cannot use

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. The Regional Manager George Y[redacted] contacted me fulfilling my request to have the account...

closed without issue. He was very kind and took the effort to make himself available to resolve the issue.  If possible, I would like the complaint rescinded as he went above and beyond.
Sincerely,

Review: I joined Crunch Gym at pre-sale before they opened. They offered me for $10.95 per month (due to pre-sale promotion) classes & no sign up fee. They didn't open until May and when they did I saw on my bill that they had charged me for sign up fee and they told me I couldn't have the classes unless I upgraded to $19.95. All they have done is lie. Went to the manager and he told me he would speak to the owner. When I got back to him he told me no way anyone would offer me that. I am a 60 year old woman that run my own business. My ears still work. 2 other members have told me the same thing, that they went back on their word. I have now read their reviews and they are not so great in general. It seems they will tell you whatever they can to get you to sign up.Desired Settlement: Would like the original agreement.

Review: As a member of Crunch Fitness in [redacted], I entered their raffle that was held May 2014. I was one of their winners ($100 [redacted] Gift Card), which was posted on the site's [redacted] page. I also received a call from the manager on duty the day of the raffle who informed me of the prize. I attempted to pick up the prize in person on numerous occasions, and also contacted via email and postal mail both the [redacted] location and the [redacted] headquarters location regarding the problem. I never received a response from Crunch regarding the matter, even after I discontinued my membership via certified mail, outlining the reason for quitting.Desired Settlement: I requesting not only a written apology regarding the poor customer service and the company's unethical business practice by not only never delivering a prize advertised in their raffle, but also never trying to rectify the matter with me. I am also requesting the balance on my account ($94.80), be removed considering my $100 Gift Card prize was never received and my account keeps being billed after Crunch emailed me an acknowledgement of my membership termination.

I have been a dedicated customer since 2013 and even chose Crunch when relocating hundreds of miles away. At my first Crunch in the DC area, Jamie, my first representative, greeted me every day with a huge smile on his face and went out of his way I was comfortable with my experience and to spread the word about his services. He also had the same demeanor towards fellow Crunch-goers and his coworkers. The service and professionalism I received with my first Crunch led me to believe I would have the same universal experience elsewhere; however, this is not the case. In my new location, the front desk is covered with a combination of sales reps and trainers who probably should be selling and training people. The short male at the front desk is rude on the phone as well in person (also has me scan my card while others just walk in) and the male with a ponytail hits on girls to gain attention. My own sales rep Jonathan (manager) has only spoken to me once since I purchased the membership; this was when my sister wanted to sign up and he brought me into the conversation. Clearly he remembered me and the rate I pay as a member but does not have the decency to greet me when scanning my card. There is only one employee who works and I went out of my way to tell him this. The machines are usually out of order and rarely cleaned by both the crew and their seemingly third party employees.

Review: Hello,My name is [redacted]. I registered with Crunch Fitness in White Plains back in March 2013. I started personal training in May. I somehow missed the fact that it was a three-month minimum so when I tried to cancel personal training after I lost my job, I wasn't able to. Regarding that they were at least able to lower my monthly payment from $200 to $100.I quit my membership on August [redacted], 2013. I asked if my personal training was also canceled and the person at the front desk said it was. I have a receipt that reads "$0.00 owed." On September [redacted], 2013 my checking account (through my debit card) was charged $100 as a continued monthly personal training payment. 1. Since this charge (which went through already), I have called Crunch multiple times and each time was told "Oh, that will be no problem. We can credit that to you no problem" by either [redacted] or someone else. It was never credited to me.2. [redacted] or someone else (it was two separate calls on two occasions) said "I will have the manager get back to you." I was never contacted by the manager or anyone and I gave it two or three weeks.3. I emailed the manager for the second time and he said "as stated in the contract you must cancel personal training 30 days in advance." Well guess what? I asked someone at the front desk if I could cancel my personal training in advance since I had wanted it to end in a few weeks from then. The girl told me to wait. She told me to wait!!!This lack of communication, empty promises, and miscommunication is very unprofessional. When I said "I need to cancel my personal training so I don't get charged next month. Should I cancel it now?" I was told "No you can wait." Also, the fact that I asked if my personal training was canceled and they told me YES it's canceled is ridiculous. They don't know what they're doing. I'm a really nice person. I've worked in customer service in many jobs. I hate to be this person but justice must be served! Crunch definitely owes me that $100. They screwed me.Desired Settlement: A credit to my checking account of $100.
