I am, as of this date, retracting my complaint against Blue Ridge Hobbies as specified in the referenced complaintAn amicable settlement has been reached between the company and myselfThanks to your mediation with the business, this resulted in a settlement satisfactory to meWill you notify Blue Ridge Hobbies of my decision or must I do that? Ms [redacted] , I was very dismayed this morning to find a complaint letter from the Revdex.com here in [redacted] , SC regarding Mr [redacted] , a long time Blue Ridge Hobbies customer, regarding his outstanding orders stating that we do not respond to emails or calls and have not sent his orderFirst - We had not responded to his email from 03/11/as this email was sent to use on the first day of our Spring Break vacation we take every year (see web https://www.blueridgehobbies.com/Store/HolidaySchedule.html) that lists our holiday hours and days we will be closed that we have advance notice of.Second - Sometime during this week sometime Mr [redacted] had called us and left a messageWe responded to that message on the first day back which was at 8am or so on 3/We left a voice mail and have received no response to that call as of this email today other than the Revdex.com complaint.Third - All of Mr [redacted] 's orders are requested by Mr [redacted] to ship as one orderUntil all open orders have all of the product here, in house at Blue Ridge Hobbies, Mr [redacted] 's order will not ship, per Mr [redacted] 's request!Forth - On order [redacted] from 02/14/item [redacted] was listed as Unknown Availability Date - Item is on back orderWith this still being the case, this order would not ship until this item came in, per Mr [redacted] 's request unless he advises us via phone contact with one of our representatives or an email stating to use to release other (new) orders and leaving or canceling the back order itemFifth - Order is ready to ship but order [redacted] came in on 02/18/thus holding order [redacted] until it was completedAgain per Mr [redacted] 's requestJust a timing conflict.Sixth - On March 8th we sent out a global email to all of our customers as follows:It's been are weird so far with my personal medical issues after the Christmas break and the cold weather around the USA All my medical testing is done as of weeks ago and all is fine.But the weather related problems continue to cause us to have delaysThis is what is beyond our control! As of last Wednesday we where all caught up! However, our next delivery on Friday did not make it! So we had nothing to ship to you all! The reason, the ice, snow and cold between Milwaukee and Chicago and GreenvilleIt all filters through Columbus, OH and Charlotte, NCWhile the weather here in Greenville has been great, just north of us it is a messFedEx deliveries are one to two days behind right nowFridays delivery should be here on TuesdayOrders from Monday after 6am until Wednesday 6am that can be filled completely, should be shipped on TuesdayThat is the only update we nowProduct availability is still an issueWe have 138,model railroad related items in our product database.When we receive product availability info each day from our store stock and our wholesalers this is what we findUnknown Availability Date: 80,itemsSpecial Order: 10,itemsAdvance Reservations: 5,items So, roughly 95,items out of 138,are not available from the manufacturers! This is exactly the opposite of availability back in when we stated *** and one of the reasons our store is currently holding the smallest amount of inventory since We are doing the best we can for all of youBut since the manufacturers continue to have product shortages and are taking, in some cases, years to fill the back orders, we can only do what we can doWe are still trying to maintain our low prices, but our day to day operations cost money just to keep the doors open! So please continue to support BRH and we will do our best to fill your ordersSoon, we will be announcing our new store to be located inside the [redacted] Yes, I know we have said this before, but *** has negotiated a lease for a new venue that will have a retail storeAs of this email BRH will be that storeMore information on this as [redacted] releases information of the next to daysSo, all in all, we are hanging in there while the other local hobby stores continue to closePlease help support BRH and *** to keep our hobby alive and bring the younger generation back into the hobby! [redacted] ***Owner Seventh - Mr [redacted] stated he called on the 11th during our store hoursThat is Our next day of work, per our schedule was Tuesday the 17th per our holiday scheduleAs a side noteEight - Mr [redacted] 's online shopping cart status (https://www[redacted] /blueridgehobbies-orderstatus) for order [redacted] shows the following info:Shipping Pending Awaiting Ordered Items From Wholesaler or Manufacturer To Complete OrderThis was updated on 02/27/and emailed to Mr [redacted] that day.Ninth - Mr [redacted] 's online status for order [redacted] shows the following info: Shipping Pending Awaiting Ordered Items From Wholesaler or Manufacturer To Complete Order and in the notes field SHIP AS ONE REQUESTED -- pending items from other orderThis was updated on 02/27/as well.Tenth - Our store policy, as it has been for almost years now, is to charge a customers credit card for items when they are ready to ship or put in hold status to complete any open or hold orders that are pendingWhich is what we have doneAgain, per Mr [redacted] 's requestWe have had this conversation with Mr [redacted] before regarding ship as one requested orders.Eleventh - We are currently operating a short retail store schedule as noted on our websiteThis is due to the lack of product availability as discussed in the open letter to all of our customers shown aboveI personally start working on Blue Ridge Hobbies related business at 5am each daySo by noon, three days a week, we have working hours each dayAfter 12pm Tues, Wed and Friday I am at the [redacted] until 5pmSunday and Monday are days I have off but are often working on Blue Ridge Hobbies and [redacted] businessOn Thursday I am at [redacted] all day as operation manager.Twelfth - The health issues where over in JanuaryThese orders are not effected by thatThe current problems are manufacturer and delivery relatedNot Blue Ridge Hobbies related So the bottom line is that for the most part, I work days a week at one location or the otherEven while on vacation! So misrepresenting that we do not respond to phone or email messages of which there where only one of each on the 3/when we where closed, an representing that our public relations should get an "F" is totally misguided and unwarrantedSince Tuesday when we left a message on Mr [redacted] 's phone, we have not received a call back from youBlue Ridge Hobbies does most of its communication via email and we communicated the status of the orders in questions via email on 02/27/directly to you and via a global email to all of our customers as well as to the status of shipment to us.We have done the best we can on this matterThe orders are still on hold until we discuss the very old back order and resolve that issueWe can not do that until we talk to youI have again left a message at 7:30am this morning with your wifeWe are expecting a call back today before 12pm on this matterCommunication is a two way streetSo far Blue Ridge Hobbies has communicated over the last weeks with no response for Mr [redacted] other than the Revdex.com complaint.Please call me at Blue Ridge Hobbies to discuss this matter as needed Thanks, [redacted] featuring the [redacted] ***

Orders from Monday after 6am until Wednesday 6am that can be filled completely, should be shipped  on Tuesday. That is the only update we now. Product availability is still an issue.
