Review: My car was totaled. Tom from crystal auto said that he could repair the vehicle and also get the title reinstated for the price of whatever the insurance company would give me. He said to give him 5 weeks to repair the car. I called in 5 weeks and he hadn't even started and made many excuses to why. It took him 10 months to actually fix the car and it wasn't titled. He just dropped it off at my house without finishing the job. I took the car to another auto place [redacted]) to make sure that it would be able to pass inspection. They fixed all that Tom was not responsible for like brakes, tires and such. I called Tom to finish up what he promised. We set a date and he came but never picked up the car. He said that because we had driven it he wouldn't fix it or even take it to the [redacted]. I tried to get him to just fix what was on the original paper work but he refused.Desired Settlement: I would like him to finish the job he had promised and to take the car to the [redacted]

Review: Crystal auto had vehicle for over 4 months. Refused to show any receipts for parts purchased. Used scrap yard parts ( I had called in June and was told that he was at the scrap yard getting parts for my car). I was given many excuses as to why the car was not ready, he claimed still fixing the passenger side door and then waiting on paint and unable to paint because of the humidity. By the end of August I had filed a complaint with the DMV. It was at that time that I was told in addition to the deductible I needed to pay, the car was still not ready and additional money was owed. [redacted] had stated that he called the insurance company and they refused any additional funds. I called the insurance company to confirm and they had no record of Crystal Auto calling for additional funds. It was after that his story changed to that I had authorized the additional repairs, which is not true. I was told it was my word against his, and not much could be done. The case was closed at the DMV. There were many arguments, hang up and swear words used by [redacted] and at times myself, he had even threatened to sell my car, call the cops on my step father and when I went to Crystal Auto with my mother in hopes of seeing some recipients [redacted] got in a car on the tower and drove away with my mother standing outside. A few days later my step father paid the money and brought my car back to me.

The passenger door only closes when it is slammed, otherwise it will not close, the tire sensor light remains on in the dashboard and the amount of time I went without my vehicle is upsetting me. on top of the additional 164.89 paid and no proof of parts purchased and the costs.Desired Settlement: Have the B.B.B. look into this.

Review: I got into an accident, the police referred this Crystal Auto to towed my car, the car towed to his shop in [redacted]. We signed the contracted to have the car repair on May 25, 2015. He told us the car is ready in three weeks. Now Im still waiting for the car, however the repair is done after two and half months but he's still need to bring the car for a savage vehicle inspection before the car can be used. I have paid him in full on august 10 and he's still not bring my car for an inspection. I called him and he's stop answering my phone call and I cannot leave him a message I text him did not response, My son has missed class from college and I have missed works and this is hard, and this guy Tom has no moral, taking advantage of people for his own good. he's lies and bs. He told me his father a police chief in [redacted] and we started to trust him to repair our car. He threaten us to charge us a storage fee if we did not pay him even the job not completely done.

Please help me to get my car back from this evil person "TOM"Desired Settlement: I need him to bring my car for an inspection and get the answer if the car pass or not so I can get my car back

unprofessional, run don't walk away from this business, in my opinion not worth the hassle.

Review: I had a verbal agreement with Crystal auto to repair the rear quarter on my 2010 [redacted] there were three dents and it needed to be repainted. I drop the car off June 3 with the agreement that I would pick it up on Friday the sixth in the car would be completely done. On Friday the sixth [redacted] the owner call me and asked me to come down and pick out the paint for the car I explained to him that's why I hired a professional so he could pick the paint out After a half hour of disagreement we agreed that I could pick the car up on Sunday and it would be completed at this time. I Tried to pick up on Sunday [redacted] inform me the car was not painted yet then said it would be completed on Tuesday the 11th. On the 11th I showed up to pick the car up and I express to [redacted] I was dissatisfied the service and asked for a refund for my inconvenience he then informed me that he would not accept anything but cash for me which was never discussed . I offered him both discovered and visa and he would not accept either I did not have the cash and he would not give me the car. On Wednesday I spoke to the resident State trooper in [redacted] to help me retrieve my car from Crystal auto. I paid the cash at the troopers Office and [redacted] put my car on the street for me to pick up. The car had not been cleaned there was overspray on the car and all the dust from the body shop. After we had wash the car we found the paint job to be unsatisfactory there is dust in the paint surface under the clear coat of the car. My fianc [redacted] phares Took the car back to Crystal auto and [redacted] try to buff out the debris in the paint job. The Paint job was still unsatisfactory there are multiple spots of dust and dirt under the paint which cannot be buffed out. This is not the quality that I paid for or expected. I took the car to another autobody shop and they said the only way to repair the paint job is to remove what Crystal auto did and repaint the quarter panel. Estimate of $625Desired Settlement: I would like the $625 that it is going to take to repair the car back to the factory standards which I payed [redacted] to do at Crystal auto.
