I am rejecting this response because:
The response did not answer my complaint, simply restated the factsI was charged an additional $fee for "weekend pickup" when I had done everything to prove that the car belonged to me and that my
father's name was on the registrationI did everything to pick up the car on Friday, but because of "company policy", my father's voice, a signed letter emailed to Thomas Towing, a printed version, and a faxed version from Isla Vista were all unsatisfactoryHowever, the next day, after I can be charged an extra exorbitant fee for "weekend pickup," now I can get the carAgain this seems like a form of extortion to me, it seems convenient to deny me my own car to wait a day in order to charge me this huge feeI do not deny I was parked to be towedI simply feel cheated out of $because I did everything in my power to prove the car was mine, and Thomas Towing did nothing t until they could charge me a ridiculous feeAdditionally, to only allow a "fax" to be an official method of releasing an automobile seems an outdated practice put in place simply to force people to pay money when they are unable to find a faxMy father did everything in his power to use the fax and to adhere to the "fax only" policy held by Thomas Towing, and still they did nothing to help meThe fact that they released the car after charging me the huge fee only seems to me that they are avoiding a scandal of holding the car over the entire weekendBut $is a lot of money to me, and I feel unfairly treated by this company.
I reject the response because the company did nothing to answer any of my questions in their reply, and have not consented to change their outlandish policy in the wake of this event.
