Review: Went here when I was finding it hard to read tiny print on the back of medicine bottles. Had not had an eye exam in several years and figured I needed one. I am 43 and have never needed glasses or eye correction before. After my exam I was told that I needed progressive lenses to correct my vision. I was surprised, as had no other vision issues other than on occasion reading tiny print. Not having any experience with glasses before and due to the fact that I was getting older, I trusted the Dr. I was told to pick out frames from a particular section of the ones available and was fitted for the lenses. After about a week, I picked them up. Right away I was concerned that I could not see clearly and it felt that I was looking through a fish bowl. Everything was magnified and outlines of objects were wavy. I was assured by Linda that my eyes just needed to adjust and that since it was my first pair of glasses it would take a few weeks.I tried them for a few days and started to get headaches and felt unsteady on my feet. I could not see correctly with them on. I was told some people can not wear progressives, so I returned for a recheck and my prescription was changed. After another week when the glasses came back and I picked them up, I once again could not see. Things were still not clear and the reading part did nothing at all. I returned the second time and they told me that they were going to give me "reading" glasses. When they were sent to the lab, I stated that I needed them by a certain date as I was leaving on a month long vacation and if I couldn't get them by then I didn't want them. I waited until the day before I was leaving and called. They were not back so I asked to please cancel the whole thing.Linda told me she could not do that and I had to contact my insurance co. I have been trying for weeks to get this resolved with no luck. Crystal Clear Eye Care tells my insurance that they will not return them.It has taken 3 times and over eight weeks that I have been dealing with this issue.I was sold an expensive pair of progressive glasses that I did not need and now they are trying to give me a pair of reading glasses. I have since been to the drug store and gotten a pair of 10 dollar glasses that works perfectly for the FEW times that I need them. Never once was it stated that they had no return policy and it is not my fault that they have sold me glasses that I can not see out of.This is a classic case of bait and switch and the customer service is terrible. They avoid my phone calls and refuse to call my insurance company back after they have left repeated messages.Desired Settlement: Would like a refund and my benifits restored. They will need to agree to tell my insurance company they agree so I can get my benifits back.
