I took the Crystal Coast Lady cruise on July 26, 2014 and paid for two tickets which totaled 77 dollars and some odd change. Once on the boat there was no form of air conditioner nor a fan. It was extremely hot, there was food on the boat as well...which included salad and peel and eat shrimp which was also hot and gross. There were too many people on the boat and not enough tables we had to eat outside on the boat without a table as well as our hair blowing everywhere even in our mouth. On Monday I called and spoke a female and expressed my concerns and dissatisfaction in the trip. Her and [redacted], the owner of the company agreed to send a gift card to take another trip. I did not receive the gift card so I called back last week and another lady answered and was extremely rude and stated [redacted] needed to sign off on that and I still have no gift card.Product_Or_Service: Dinner Cruise Account_Number: 77.00Desired SettlementAt this point I would like my money back, it was awful and they were rude. Business Response The vessel had 62 passengers that evening. The Crystal Coast Lady has seating for 92 passengers and is USCG licensed for 149 passengers. There was enough seating on the vessel that night. This was the only complaint from that evening about the food. There were never any advertisements or mention of air conditioning on the vessel. The vessel carries thousands of passengers each season and there has never been a complaint about air conditioning. The passenger was never told that she would be issued a gift card, which is not company policy (we do not issue gift cards at all). When she contacted us, a full three days after the trip, we told her that we were sorry she did not enjoy her trip but that we could not refund her fare.

Company does not honor debts.I received a gift certificate for a sunset cruise in New Bern valued at $54. Certificate #[redacted]. They said they would not honor the gift and did not offer this cruise anymore. They agreed to send me a check for the amount after several conversations if I sent the gift certificate back. I sent it back months ago but still have not been refunded. Desired SettlementI want my money back for services not rendered. Also, they should apologize for their tardiness and poor customer service. They did not follow through on their contract which they were paid for up front.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]Mr. [redacted] was gifted a gift certificate that was purchased from one of our businesses in 2015. We decided to close that business in 2016. The customer called twice. The first call was only a couple of weeks ago...not months. At the time of the first phone call, Mr. [redacted] was offered the option of using his gifted certificate on another cruise boat. Mr. M[redacted] was only interested in a refund. We agreed to refund with a check for the purchase price of the gift certificate, upon receipt of the gift certificate. We did not receive it. Mr. M[redacted] left a very nasty message on our answering machine. His call was returned and he was told the same thing. He had to check with his wife to see where she sent it. We verified our address with him and, once again, told him we would be happy to issue a refund upon receipt of the gift certificate. This last conversation took place yesterday, 6/9/16. Rather than return the gift certificate, Mr. M[redacted] has chosen to bash us on social media and file a complaint through the Revdex.com. We will not refund without receiving the gift certificate, just as a store would not refund without receiving the merchandise. As far as his desired resolution: 1. He will be refunded once we receive the gift certificate. 2. We were not tardy in anything we have done regarding Mr. M[redacted]. He called twice and we responded twice. His refusal to return the item does not equate to tardiness by us. 3. We have at no time provided poor customer service. Mr. M[redacted] has been treated with courtesy and respect, in spite of his loud threatening tactics. 4. We do apologize that Mr. M[redacted] has been unable to return the gift certificate and feels the need to blame us for not being able to comply with our simple request.We would still be more than happy to refund Mr. [redacted] for the gifted certificate, once he returns it to us.
