Due to the fact 723 Glenway is a brand new building, there were several "punch list" items the general contractor needed to complete the first couple of weeks of occupancy.ALL tenants were notified if the contractor needed to enter a specific unitThis took place for the first -weeks of
JulyMs *** was the only tenant to complainSo we stopped entering her unit.After several complaints regarding the apartment, we OFFERED Ms *** to let her out of her lease with no penalty. We have an email trail which shows we responded to Ms *** emails timely and courteouslyShe was never "blown off".We offered to have a face to face meeting in our office in hopes of resolving her concerns, she admittedly refused.My office staff and myself were never "threatening" nor "mocking" through out this process.Please feel free to contact me with any questionsSincerely,*** * ***

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.*** made no offer of reconciliation or indication that he understands my concerns.He also stated falsely that I was I was notified prior to the second incident I mentioned, where the contractor entered my apartment unannounced He also falsely stated that the issue was resolved; unbelievably, another maintenance person again tried to enter my apartment today without any prior notice from *** Properties.I had not requested to be released from my lease I had requested for my concerns to be addressed By only offering to release me from my lease, it was insinuated that the problem would not be fixed and the only solution was for me to leave, which again, would be costly, timely and more stressful He clearly was not making an offer with my interests in mind.I have declined to meet with *** in person because when I mentioned that it was difficult to feel at home due to his management style, he told me he would not renew my lease He has shown consistently that he has no regards for my concerns, does not listen, and instead threatens the stability of my living situation I do not currently feel comfortable meeting with him

In my last response I offered to waive our fee of $50.00 for Ms [redacted] NSF check, if she were to pay the past due rent of $90.00.Our records show Ms [redacted] accepted our offer and paid the $90.00.At this time it has not been determines if we will offer Ms [redacted] a lease renewal.(I am somewhat perplexed as to why Ms [redacted] would want to renew with us based on the allegations she has made.)Sincerely,[redacted] [redacted]
