On Saturday 8/12 I went in for my scheduled 10am appointment for a simple extraction for my lower right back tooth. The dentist did a full exam of my mouth and proceeded to fondle my upper tooth, I stopped him and corrected him to please pull the lower tooth. He then cleaned the back of my front teeth and sent me back to the front desk. I at no time asked for a teeth cleaning that only furthered the pain I was already experiencing in my lower back tooth by the addition of cold water and air suction. After working on a "dental plan" I was returned to room 2 for my extraction. The dentist forcefully gave me several shots on my mouth to numb the area. As I had tears and was trembling I asked for a moment to regroup. He left me alone for roughly 2 minutes then began to bang on my face asking if I was numb. I told him not yet. He then grabbed onto my bottom jaw jabbing his index finger up under my jaw bone and between my ear. I said, "Ouch" he asked if that hurt and I told him it did. He then began to argue with me that I was NOT in pain and that shouldn't have hurt me. I explained that what hurt was his finger under my jaw bone and the forceful way he jerked my head. He proclaimed that he is gentle and I was NOT hurt by his actions. I asked him to be careful as this is the side of my mouth in the most pain. He began poking me repeatedly under my jaw bone saying this does not hurt, mocking me. I told him I was done here. He said good! Get your refund at the front. I went to the front and explained to the nice receptionist who did not seem as all surprised by my request. However she was unable to refund my transaction as it was still pending.
