There was a typo in the first sentence, the word "mad" was suppose to be "made".  If one reads the sentence, it will be obvious that the word "made" fits accordingly in the sentence.  The driver was not "reprimanded" - however, we do communicate with our drivers and listen to them in order get a better picture of the entirety of any given situation.  As originally stated,  [redacted] was "made" aware that all product was to be dumped together at the time of delivery and edging and fabric should be picked up due to possible damage that can occur in the truck (edging can bend when being dumped and happens every now and then).  All deliveries for edging and rock are made this way, the customer always has the liberty to pick up the edging if they choose to. The homeowner, [redacted], is entitled to his opinions.  However, we run our business fairly and do our best to handle a bad situation if and when it occurs.  As previously stated in our original response, our office tried to solve this customer's complaint and advised him to call the owner because the owner is the only one who can make the decision to replace any kind of material or approve credits.  However, the customer refused to call the owner.  In any case, the homeowner, [redacted], did sign for the ACCEPTANCE of delivered goods, see the document attached to our original response.I propose that this case be closed.  Thank you.

If this were true, why did they want to see who the delivery person was so they could "reprimand" that person?They also stated that the homeowner was mad. Very true. I signed for the materials. What might I have done, demand that the woman who drove the truck that dumped the materials (several tons of rocks on top of 22 pieces of edging) pick it all up and take it back? (I noticed that she was in a hurry to leave.) The two rolls of landscape cloth were not buried and not damaged. They are the only things that could reasonably have been refused and returned.This business acts as if they have a monopoly. There attitude is very different from other businesses in this community.

I am rejecting this response because: I paid 49.50 to have this 1 1/2 ton tan river rock delivered. If you would like to send a truck to pick up the rock and refund both the price of the rock plus the delivery charge that would be fine. I believe a partial refund for the rock would be the best way to settle this. I have already brought a sample to the store, if you would like to send someone to inspect what you delivered please make arrangements with me.
