We saw *** on 12/11/for a emergency exam due to tooth pain. A complete intraoral and extra-oral exam was performed and appropriate radiographs were taken to diagnose the patients pain. There was no infection on the xray or inside the patients mouth, there was however severe decay
on the lower left and upper left posterior teeth. Due to the extensive decay *** was told his tooth was non-restorable and he would need to get it extracted. The decay was too deep to have a general dentist remove it so *** was given a referral to the Oral Surgeon and pain medication. No antibiotics were prescribed because no infection was present, the extensive decay however warranted pain meds so he wouldn't be uncomfortable any longer. *** was charged a total of $and he did not have money at the time of his appointment in 2015. We have since billed him for months with no payments and I'm wondering if this is the reason for the sudden complaint on the Revdex.com website. Thank you. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: first of all as I stated before I book this appointment for [redacted] and now they have released information and dental information about [redacted] without [redacted]s authorization I have not paid this bill for [redacted] because of the fact that they did not take care of them correctly which is why I am letting you know this they should have given him an antibiotic and as I stated previously I am stating it again [redacted] went after the fact and there was infection there I gave him the old  antibiotics we had at the house and within two days he was no longer in pain and did not need any of the pain killers. It is simply a cop out on their to blame not paying a bill for services not performed correctly rather than fix the issue and do what's right. Per privacy act no medical nor dental info is to be released without written approval. They could have addressed this by simply contacting myself or [redacted] by phone and they have not responded to any of my voice mails. I will seek further assistance in regards to our rights in this matter since they would rather blame and make excuses for their actions in stead of doing what is right they said when I booked the appt they could help him and that he would get antibiotics and that that would be the best start.
