[redacted] QUOATED THE PRICE OF DOING THE JOB OF INSTALLING TWO TOILETS AND REMOVING THE TWO TOILETS HE WAS REPLACING FOR $600 DOLLARS FOR THE TOTAL JOB. HE BROKE IT DOWN TO $ 200 PER TOILET WHICH EQUALS $400. AND $100 TO INSTALL EACH TOILET WHICH EQUALS $200. SO $400 PLUS $200 IS THE $600 VERBAL QUOTE.[redacted] FROM CRYSTAL PLUMBING, LICENSE # [redacted], PHONE NUMBERS: ###-###-#### AND ###-###-#### INSTALLED TWO TOILETS AND REMOVED TWO TOILETS ON TUESDAY, JULY 8, 2014. WHEN I GOT HOME I ASKED MY HUSBAND ABOUT THE TOILET INSTALLATION. HE INDICATED CRYSTAL PLUMBING CHARGED $836.89 DOLLARS NOT THE $600 AS QUOTED. WHEN ASKED ABOUT THE DISCREPANCY IN PRICE, [redacted] TOLD [redacted] THE TOILET PRICE WAS NOW $285 EACH. WOULD NOT HAVE AGREED TO THE PRICE IF WE WERE TOLD AT THE BEGINNING OF THE JOB. HE INSTALLED PRO FLO TOILETS THAT YOU CAN BUY AT FERGUSONS FOR $79.95. WE ALSO LOOKE AT LOWES AND HEOME DEPOT AND WOULD HAVE BOUGHT KOHLER TOILETS FOR $185 EACH AND CRYSTAL PLUMBING WOULD HAVE INSTALLED FOR $100 EACH. INSTEAD WE GOT NO-NAME TOILETS THAT LOOK CHEAP WITH AND HAVE PLASTIC TOILET SEATS.MY HUSBAND AND I WOULD NEVER HAVE AGGRED TO THIS OUTCOME FOR THIS OVER-PRICED JOG.Desired Settlement: THE JOB COMPLETED WAS DONE WITH KNOWLEDGE THAT THE BILL WOULD BE $600 & WITH TOILETS THAT ARE SUPERIOR QUALITY TO KOHLER AND AMERICAN STANDARD.WE GOT TWO INFERIOR TOILETS AS COMPARED TO KHOLER AND AMERICAN STANDARD AND THE PRICE PER TOILET WERE MORE THAN QUOTED BY $236.89 EAWE WOULD LIKE A TOTAL REFUND OF OUR $836.89, AND HAVE CRYSTAL PLUMBING REMOVE BOTH TOILETS FOR NO CHARGE. I received a complaint (ID) against my business on July 22, 2014 about a job I did on July 8th 2014 for [redacted] and [redacted]. First of all I'm disappointed that they couldn't talk to me first instead of going to a 3rd party. Next all I can say is that I must have been misunderstood when I quoted [redacted] the price for the toilets. I told him they were about 100.00 apiece to install them. I also told him the brand name at that time and he had a month to think about it. He called and said he wanted me to send him some pictures of the 300.00 toilets which I did. He then told me that they liked them and to go ahead and get them and set up an appointment to install them. After the job was finished I gave him the bill and he gave me a check and told me it was a good job and he was happy with it. He never said anything about the price being different than he thought it should be. Now with that said, I never met [redacted].
