Review: A patio and concrete stairs was constructed by Crystal River Home Design in September 2013 for $19,500. Work was based on contract signed 6/23/13 and included a written warranty. Steps consisting of concrete pavers with a sand base began to fail in winter 2013/spring 2014 and were repaired in summer 2014. Steps again settled and separated and became unsafe during winter 2014/spring 2015. Made numerous (at least a dozen calls) phone calls during March through May 2015 and got promises from Alex (Manager) to have someone evaluate. Several promises to look at problem and no-one showed. One visit was made in early May following threats to include Crystal River in any lawsuits should anyone fall on loose steps and file a lawsuite. One person came by with a caulk gun (a totally inappropriate fix and response). A followup call was made to indicate this was inappropriate and a true evaluation and fix needed to be made.Desired Settlement: Steps need to be either properly repaired or totally replaced and covered under warranty so that unstable steps and foundation are no longer a safety hazard.Two visitors to our home have already nearly fallen on loose steps.
