8LB South Bend Mono Line [redacted]  The complainant stated that the spools of 8 pound fishing line are being filled with 765 feet of line rather than 765 yards as the package lists.    We have been working with this manufacturer for 26 years and this is the only complaint received regarding the amount of line on the spool being different than the packaging indicates. Our manufacturer confirmed that our spools contain 765 yards of line.  If the spool contained only 765 feet, the spool would be only be1/3 full.  The photo below shows the difference. Our manufacturer ran a spool with 765 feet to show the difference that would be clearly visible in the packaging.   The spool on the left contains 765 yards while the spool on the right contains 765 feet.      Hopefully this will clear up this matter.  Please feel free to contact us if you need additional information.   We would be more than happy to send the consumer a replacement spool, if desired.     [redacted] Maurice Sporting Goods [redacted]
