Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:There are issues with my windows & doors from Phillips:1) Window Operations:- Phillips did send a window manufacturer
rep to my house once, who was able to fix one of the two windows that were not operating properly.- That rep was nor able to fix the other window as it was installed improperly, due to insulation/caulk around the window installed improperly- Since I did not hear from Phillips, after sending them the rep's report, I removed that insulation/caulk myself- Trying to schedule another appointment to get the rep back to see if he can fix the 2nd window now, which I must take another day off to accomplish2) Window/Door Installation:- I received a letter from my homeowners association (HOA) stating that the doors and windows were not installed properly- Sent that letter to Phllips to meet me and the HOA Rep at my home to review the changes required by my HOA- Phillips has not respondedRegards,*** ***

Review: After calling Phillips for a quote on replacing 4 sliding glass doors and 5 windows, [redacted] arrived at my unit, on time and gave my a competitive quote. That was the only time [redacted] was on time for an appointment to replace my doors and windows. After taking my deposit check, he consistently made appointments to do the work, then either didnt show up or rescheduled at the last minute. As I work in New York City, I was forced to take days off repeatedly when [redacted] missed or rescheduled appointments. Finally I agreed to give [redacted] and his workers a key to my unit, in an effort to get the work done.I found after the first day on the job, that [redacted] and his workers, who I found out later, are not employees of Phillips, but sub-contactors, left my townhouse without cleaning up after themselves. Even after speaking to [redacted] about the mess, [redacted] and his workers continued to track dirt and mud throughout my unit, and left nails, screws, vinyl siding shards and other building material scraps around the areas they were working in. They left ladders up against the house each night repeatedly, an unsafe situation, even after I asked them not to. Finally, I have found the work they performed at my house extremely unsatisfactory. [redacted] promise of professional, neat installation of the doors and windows were no where to be found. Caulking around the doors and windows was messy and uneven, leaving gaps for water to seep into my unit. J-channel installed was missing, broken, cracked or uneven. Aluminum molding/trim they fabricated and installed around the outside of the windows and doors was scratched/dented and installed poorly to leave gaps between the doors and windows. Interior molding they installed around the windows was crude and cheap (a look [redacted] calls an industrial look), and eventually removed per my demands so I could install the interior molding myself.After several attempts to return and fix the issues with the installation, none of which was to my satisfaction, [redacted] sentDesired Settlement: Refund installation fees or fix installation issues
