CS Investigative Services, Inc. Reviews (1)

August 25, 2016   Good Day Ms. [redacted],   On behalf of CSIS and all our employees I would like to apologize for the way the events were handled on the night of Friday 08/12/16. The officer should not have gotten as personally involved as he did and should not have engaged in a conversation...

regarding obligations he has no authority over. The officer was acting in good faith and was trying to do everything possible to assist by going above and beyond his obligation and unfortunat**y caused greater issues than necessary.   Please understand that I do not want you to confuse the apology or the reimbursement to you for Officer [redacted]’s personal actions as a sign that the original towing of your vehicle was inappropriate or illegal.  I, as the owner, still b**ieve the tow and the officer’s enforcement action was valid, legal, and appropriate. However, due to the conversations you had with the officer and the multiple miscommunications that occurred, I  find it only right to provide a reimbursement due to the inconvenience, misunderstandings, and of course the quality of service you received by our officer.  I pride my company on integrity and service.    I have read your letter carefully and I assure you we do not participate in "bait and switch" or "scare" tactics as you mentioned. I am sorry that you may have f**t that way but I complet**y understand why you did.  At no point in time, do we target specific vehicles or single them out for any reason. If a vehicle is in violation and is subject to tow it will be towed as long as time permits.   Officer [redacted] has a huge heart and that night it was in the right place by trying to extend some courtesy in which he had no authority.  He was attempting to resolve everything peacefully in a way that would leave everyone happy, but he did not take into consideration that we cannot give authorization to r**ease a vehicle and that the tow was, in the end, valid. I understand Officer [redacted]’s intent and I understand your perception of the events.  I hope that you may fe** the same way after understanding we have fully investigated the events that night.   I would like to make it clear that we do not have anything to gain personally or financially when vehicles are towed from properties. We work with a wide variety of tow companies and our officers tow vehicles in conjunction with the Community Managers request to ensure a safe community that is uncongested for you to reside. Not only is this highly illegal but it goes against our mission statement and is an allegation we do not take lightly because it affects both our company and the tow companies reputations.   Once again, I am sorry for the quality of service you received that night. We strive to provide quality public safety services and we f**l short that night by a considerable amount. We will take this as a learning experience and use it to ensure that nothing like this happens again. Please fe** free to contact me at any time if you have any questions.  I have enclosed a check for the $389.50 in which should be a full reimbursement of the tow fees.   Sincer**y,   [redacted]PresidentCS Investigative Services Inc
