Hello Mrs. D[redacted],Thank you for writing regarding your storage units.  We would like to clarify that you have not received multiple rental increases in one year.  In fact, since Trojan Storage acquired the property, your rent has been increased just once each year.  The separate charge...

you are interpreting as a rental increase is $9.00/month mandatory insurance as required by the terms of our rental agreement.  This became effective January of 2016.  The increase in April 2016 was an actual rental increase which is distinct and separate from your $9.00 insurance charge.  Also, your last rental increase was April of 2015, then one year prior in 2014, and so forth.  We try our very best to keep rent increases to a minimum and do them just once per year.  The new rates are also well below market rate and what our new customers are paying for the same size unit.  If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the office.  Thank you.
