Review: On February 18, 2014 [redacted] ("[redacted]") accepted a proposal for services by CT Home Additions & Remodeling, Proposal #[redacted] to install kitchen cabinetry as per Plan on page two of the contract for a total price of $2,580.00. On February 20, 2014, [redacted] hand delivered to [redacted] ("[redacted]") [redacted]'s Check #[redacted] in the amount of $1,800.00 made payable to CT Home Additions & Remodeling LLC representing deposit on Proposal. At that time [redacted] stated the cabinetry job should start in 5 weeks. Check was cashed & cleared [redacted]'s account. On May 2, 2014, I called [redacted]'s business phone & cell phone and left voice messages as a follow up because I did not hear from him and it was well beyone the 5 week start date of the cabinetry job. On May 13, 2014, I emailed [redacted] at c[redacted].com following up to my phone call. On May 14, 2014 [redacted] emailed a reply to me stating that he had employee issues and that he had two projects ahead of me which should be done in approximately three weeks - then my job would be next, bringing the estimated date to June 4th. No work has been done. I sent follow up emails on June 19, 2014, July 2, 2014 & July 16, 2014. I have left several voice mail message at his business telephone and cell phone. No responseDesired Settlement: [redacted] desired outcome is that we get our $1,800.00 deposit returned.
Review: I signed a contract with CT Home Additions in July 2012 and after more than 8 delays the job was never started, the deposit check was cashed and none of the goods could be delivered. After more than 50 phone calls, text msgs and e-mails Mr [redacted] promised to return my $9800.00 to me. 3 months from that agreement I still have no money, and none of the agreed to services completed or started. I was forced, by Mr [redacted]'s unwillingness to refund my money to seek and employ legal consul. After nearly a month, my attorney it seems is unable to get Mr [redacted] to return the money even after informing my lawyer that he would on a specific date.
Desired Settlement: Full return of the all moneys given to Mr [redacted] in July 2012.
