1)because of harsh winter access to customers backyard was impossible. we had to special order the caps we now have them in our possession. as soon as weather permits we will install them. 2)the broken window had nothing to do with us it was fault of their...

builder I am trying to get the glass repaired from our window company as a favor to the [redacted]'s. 3)Once again due to winter conditions we cannot access the bottom of his deck will attends to as soon as weather permits. 4) when deck completed they were happy with install that is why they paid us in full for the job but when we return we will address any problems they have with railings. 5) again any issues they have with rails will be address as soon as weather permits.

I am rejecting this response because: 1) The 2 caps for posts are standard and they should have got them in November last year when we paid for it. The weather was not problem last year november . He should have done it 4 months back when the money was paid. He still has to give a fixed date in april  by which he will finish the job for the posts. The weather is fine in april.
2) His installer had put clips in complete wrong place for railing. I have pictures of it. Since  his installer put the clips in wrong place and outside on posts. the only way to put clips back right was to put completely new railing. He promised us to put new railing on deck but he later changed his mind without notifying us. In order to save himself money, he cut rails around by 6 inches so that he can hide holes on posts due to clips at wrong place. He did not keep his promise of changing the rail completely since his installer put the clips in wrong place. In order to avoid our anger for his installer mistake and not fulfilling the promise of changing rails completely, he took our window and promise to  fix it and return it in 2 weeks. He told me last month that window is ready and would be delivered in 2 days. As usual, he did not keep his promise. Also, winter had nothing to do delay in fixing of window. Windows are fixed inside and not outside in cold weather. He need to provide a fixed date in april by which fixed window will be delivered.
3) The money for deck was paid in full by oct last year. He should have connected the deck to post when deck was built in oct last year. Weather was not problem then. He needs to give fixed date by which post under deck will be connected to deck.
4) As I explained in point 2 about the blunder made by his installer of putting rails wrong. His installer put marked scratches on 2 rail  and put one broken rail in it. At the time when they did it, I had showed these issues to him and his installer. They promised to come back but  they never bothered to come back and fix it. The weather was not a problem in nov last year and they should have fixed it then. He needs to give a fixed date in april by which he will fix this problem.  He needs to change the broken railing and either put paint or change scratched railings.  His Saleman told us to give all the money otherwise, they will not finish the job. That is why I gave all the money, and still he did not finish the job.
5) Also, when he put rails on porch, his installer put dents and scratches on the existing posts of the porch. He had told us that any damage by installer on existing post will be his responsibility and therefore he needs to put wood putty on posts to fix it.
 
I cannot accept this  response since he needs to give a fixed date in april to finish the above things listed and he is not admitting his mistakes. Instead of apologizing for his mistakes, he is giving weather as an excuse. He was paid for deck in october and porch work in november. He should have finished all the work in november last year and weather was not a problem then.
