CTC Trucking & Truck Repair

CTC Trucking Inc did an engine rebuild on our 2007 UD Nissan wrecker. The truck was with them well over one month. This involved cylinder head work, main engine bearings, and cylinder and piston work, and fuel injectors. The invoice was***. We did not receive written estimates and did not find out costs until the truck was picked up October 21st, 2019. We paid $13,681.90. The truck squealed when we left and had zero fuel. We were assured it was fine and the squeal would go away. The truck lasted about 2 hours and broke down. It was towed back to the CTC Trucking. We paid with credit card. We sent certified mail that we were disputing the charges until we got the truck back repaired and had a 2 day period to drive and ensure a correct repair. We called Monday Nov. 4 at 8 AM and wished to pick the truck up which Don said was repaired. He demanded cash in full and did not release the truck or let us check it out. This is extortion and he is not honoring his merchant credit card responsibilities. We have had multiple repairs done by him in the past and always paid every bill. He is withholding the use of the wrecker which is used for Police and Emergency work. We will litigate if we do not receive the truck to use.
