contract, gave a deposit and contracted for a new Entry Door and Storm Door on June 8th, She is correct in saying the Storm Door was received damaged during shipping and needed to be reordered (which takes about to weeks to receive), at no point on the day of the installation did she ask us to re-hang the old storm door or hang the damaged oneWe did dispose of the old storm door that was removedUnfortunately we do not manufacture the storm doors and have no control of when the manufacturer will send the doorsWe can only ask that they expedite the manufacturing as quickly as possibleThe Keylock “Problem” was not brought to our attention when we returned to install the new replacement storm doorAfter returning to add a bumper pad on the Entry door, the customer brought up her concern about the KeylockWe then went out to assess that situation and asked for her keys for the doorThe customer gave us the WRONG key to useWe believe she had been trying to use the wrong key and had caused the tumbler inside the lock set to stickWe then ordered a new lock set and replaced it at NO CHARGE!As far as the balance goes it is our understanding that the Customer agreed to a $discount off of the total billWhen we called for the Final payment, we were told she would be sending it in, just before she hung up the phone on usThis is the first time we are hearing of her not wanting to pay her balance of the agreed upon price.We are truly sorry for her inconvenience, But we reiterate, We Do Not Manufacture the Products that we install and have very little control of when they are receivedIf she feels better Not paying the balance of her contract we will accept this settlementBut feel she is being unfair to our company as a Contractor who tried to be responsive to her.Robert K***
