If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. Lupe is a CON ARTIST. We hired him back in October/November to lay sod and install a sprinkler system, lay concrete slab. When he came to give us a quote he gave us a flat quote right then a there without measuring or anything, he gave us a really great sales pitch (that was our fault for falling for it.) We paid him half upfront and he came and laid sod and "piping for the sprinkler system". Mind you we have house water not irrigation and he didn't "realize" until after the crappy piping was laid. He got the sod done in a a couple days and recommend we not water because it will just hibernate for winter (we knew NOTHING about lawns at the time so we just listened to everything he said since he's the "expert".) After the sod was laid he asked for the other half for the concrete slab, and sprinkler system. A ton of back and forth calls, no shows, texts and all we heard was excuse after excuse as to why the plumber wasn't showing up and the concrete guy was super busy blah blah blah. Finally our concrete slab got finished after hounding Lupe for two to three weeks about it. Then next was sprinkler system hook up, his "plumber" "broke" his arm but he'd be able to do it this date at this time, and then this was a back and forth thing for the next two months and STILL no hook up of sprinkler system. After telling him we just want our money back for it at this point since we are getting nowhere and the work was not completed he finally stopped by our house and we made him sign a contract stating the sprinkler system will be done no later than April 1st of 2020 or we want our money back for that as he told us it's now Winter and it isn't a good idea to do it now. April comes around and yet no word. Contacted him May 1st over text both me and my wife and no answer, I then proceeded to text him again stating I want our money back or we are going to small claims court, now here we are taking legal action because we were scammed. Also he claims his business is named "Gonzalez Landscaping" but when you google that nothing pops up at all, but when you put in his phone number this business pops up. I'm warning others so they don't have to go through this mess like we have been. We are now out $7,000 with dead sod because he never even changed the soil out either, and with no sprinkler system. DO NOT HIRE LUPE, HE IS A CROOK.

We contracted with Lupe of Cueramaro's Landscaping to install a sprinkler system and plant grass seed in our new back yard. He was paid in full at the time of the service. There was an immediate problem with one of the valves and then numerous spots where the grass did not come up. We left multiple phone messages over the last 6-7 weeks requesting follow-up. There was no response from him.
