Customer stated that we spilled water all over his hardwood floor while emptying a brine tank during a service call Service technician states that he did not spill the water on the floor and states that if he did, he would have cleaned it up He is a year technician and has no reason not to tell me the truth System is in a basement and there was question on whether or not the sewer sump pump was actually functioning properly Customer also made no effort to mitigate the damage and basically just threw towels down on the hardwood floor and took pictures of it It was left that way until our technician returned to the house to investigate the problem All of that being said, the incident was turned over to our insurance company as standard by company policy and they denied the claim

Per the Idaho State Tax Commission, charging tax on monthly rental rates for equipment installed in a customer's home is legal and required by the law.

Customer stated that we spilled water all over his hardwood floor while emptying a brine tank during a service call.  Service technician states that he did not spill the water on the floor and states that if he did, he would have cleaned it up.  He is a 30 year technician and has no reason...

not to tell me the truth.  System is in a basement and there was question on whether or not the sewer sump pump was actually functioning properly.  Customer also made no effort to mitigate the damage and basically just threw towels down on the hardwood floor and took pictures of it.  It was left that way until our technician returned to the house to investigate the problem.  All of that being said, the incident was turned over to our insurance company as standard by company policy and they denied the claim.

I have spoken with my insurance provider again and we are looking at additional options towards resolution of your complaint.  They will be reaching out to you soon to discuss.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
Culligan repair man came out to fix water system problem for the third time. My girlfreind was home at the time and he told her he needed a bucket to bail the water out of the tank. She gave him the bucket to do that. He went downstairs and did his repair. came back upstairs and told her he was done and everything was ok. I arrived approx. 10 minutes later. went down stairs only to find water on the flooring. Called the service man and he came back and confirmed that it was brine from tank. before he arrived we had put towels on the floor to absorb the water. My neighbor was there and can confirm this as well. There is nothing wrong with the sump or plumbing. the service man also said he seen no plumbing issue. We do not understand how anyone could not have noticed this happening. There was no water around the toilet and the shower was dry inside. My girlfreind did take pictures of the towels on the floor and the bath rugs in the bathroom. It looks more like the bucket was spilled over. Of course being laminate wood flooring it has coupled up where the water was on and seeped under despite efforts to dry with towels.Sincerely,[redacted]
